RBT #40 - Mr. Pork (RBT Finale)

I said a couple of weeks ago that the RBT posts that are on Thursdays will be replaced w/a new segment called Rhetorical(s) that'll give my input/impression on the various Anime that I've come to either watch/read. Without further ado, I would like to thank you all for following me on the Random moments in Bleach. This segment didn't have much to offer in comparison to the other posts and that was why I decided I'd replace it with a new segment. Today's final RBT is Mr. Pork during the Full-bringer Arc in Bleach. Not only did I find his character completely irrelevant, but I wasn't what you'd call the biggest fan of the Full-bringer Arc. Sure, some of the guys from that arc will reappear in the War, but to go from defeating a God-like being to thwarting the former Death God representative is quite weak. Besides, the "twist" on who was the actual bad guy in Bleach was predictable and I found his character lacking in comparison to other Bleach antagonists. Mr. Pork was brought up for training Ichigo and was placed inside Riruka's dollhouse so that the two may spar/survive. Mr. Pork doesn't sound like a Bleach character, but rather it sounds like something you'd hear in Muppet Pals or Sesame Street....but Bleach? Ichigo eventually trained his @$$ off and guess what, we never see Mr. Pork again. Like most of Bleach's characters, they often appear more than once since they help progress a story. With Mr. Pork, nope he's gone and we'll never know what happened to him. Does that mean his character was just a training exercise and that's it? Even other Bleach characters that have gone through training exercises one way or another came out to be friends (EX: Kisuke & Yoruichi, Ichigo & Renji, etc). Mr. Pork was expendable and that's why I found his character to be Random.

I hope you all enjoyed the final RBT. The randomness is Bleach is here and there, but if you ever want to look for sporadic moments in Bleach, more power to you. Look forward to the new segment titled Rhetorical(s) next Thursday. Until then, you all stay classy now. I will post BCC post & WBCR tomorrow.

BCC #11 - Karin Kurosaki vs. Fuuka Saitou (The Little Sisters)

VS.

To be perfectly honest, I was doubting putting this Matchup up in BCC, but seeing as it's my Blog and I can do anything I want (almost) ~ I decided to go along with it. Reiterating once again, put aside logic, reasoning, & prejudice when it comes to cartoons because at the end of the day, you seriously can't go around believing everything just from watching cartoons. That being said, today's Matchup are the Little Sisters of the main characters. One's a pervert & the other is serious. One has a huge brother-complex and the other wants to do anything in her power to help out her brother. The f*cked up part about this Matchup is that the little sisters are just becoming teenagers, being 13-14 years of age & surprisingly, in the Anime norm, are starting to grow large knockers. I for one know it's a cartoon and thus I put aside logic & reasoning when it comes to asking such questions like: Why do they have big BEEWBZ despite being kids or Do BEEWBZ grow that big at their age? Like I said once again in the beginning, PUT ASIDE LOGIC, UNDERSTANDING, & REASONING WHEN IT COMES TO ANIMATED CHARACTERS. I will admit that Mikan from To-Love-Ru, Rito's little sister, is surprisingly a well-drawn character despite her age. Without further ado, let's jam with out competitors, Karin Kurosaki from Bleach & Fuuka Saitou from Cyclops Shojo Saipu (I'm well aware that the spelling is wrong in picture).

Personality (Karin)
Karin Kurosaki, alongside fraternal twin sister Yuzu Kurosaki (alo pictured), are polar opposites. Whereas Yuzu is a carring and worrywart sister, Karin is more laidback, serious, & out-spoken. Despite her age, Karin acts pretty maturely and usually is the voice of reason when Ichigo & Isshin are often bickering. Karin, much like Yuzu, worries for her brother's safety, but knows that Ichigo is strong enough to fend for himself (Yuzu constantly worries). After losing his powers, Karin is seen purchasing items at the Urahara shop, wanting to provide aid to Ichigo since she too is spiritually aware. Karin doesn't get as emotional as Yuzu and thus she's often see as being tomboyish in comparison to Yuzu's sweet nature.

Personality (Fuuka)
Fuuka...where do I begin. She's incredibly perverted towards her brother because, well....she has a huge brother-complex and believes that despite them being siblings, their man & woman first and thus she logically believes that the two should do XXX because of it. It doesn't help that she, 2 years prior to her growth, jokingly proposed that she'll marry her brother and him accepting it when in actuality ~ she was serious. She's often jealous whenever other women get too close to her brother and when alongside him, she isn't afraid to do "things." For a 13-14 year old girl to be that attached to her brother....it's scary.

HCA Levels (Karin)
Like I keep saying, don't put logic into Cartoons. With that being said, I find the Kurosaki sisters to be pretty balanced in comparison to their older brother who has the best of both worlds (Ichigo is sweet & kind, but also out-spoken and serious). With Karin, I found her character to more relevant after the time-skip considering she may/may not aid Ichigo during the War. Also, something about her hairstyle has quite an appeal to them and you can't help but feel that she's admirable for wanting to help out the family despite being a side character. And, much like Mikan in To-Love-Ru, she's pretty well-drawn like most Bleach characters.

HCA Levels (Fuuka)
Something about Fuuka scares me and I can't quite point it out, but it's got to be the overly attachment part....yeah definitely. Seriously, does her attachment constitute as cute & adorable? Well it is, but to the extreme. It's gotten to the point where even the brother himself gets nosebleeds upon seeing her sister....WTF. Fuuka isn't hesitant to harass her brother & it's in her best interests to be constantly watching him in hopes he'll have no choice but to choose Fuuka although it's impossible since, I don't know, THEY'RE SIBLINGS! Her growth though after 2 years....she's gotten hot and I can't lie about that.

BEEWBZ (Karin)
Since she's a teenager, her breasts have grown a little as seen in the picture.

BEEWBZ (Fuuka)
Do BEEWBZ grow that big at her age? If so, then that's Anime for ya.

Final Decision
And the winner is...
Fuuka may be the main character of Cyclops Shojo Saipu, but there's not much progression in terms of story. It's pretty bland when you tear it apart and, in terms of the genre of the Manga/Anime, it's literally incest. It's a girl's failed attempt to appeal to her brother who is resisting temptation. Now this is an ongoing debate in fiction considering the topic is controversial, but again ~ put aside logic, reasoning, & why why whys because at the end of the freaking day ~ it's just a cartoon that some will like or dislike. I personally think it's funny at times and overly perverted all the time (and pretty short run-time). With Karin, her development triggers Ichigo to have the resolve and means to protect & continue fighting so as to pursue a future of keeping the peace within the Kurosaki household. Karin wants to aid her brother & that's both admirable & mature if you think about it ~ she'll maybe/maybe not participate in the War and if she does, I want to see what she could do to help out our allies. She's spiritually aware and since Ichigo is a pretty strong fella, it doesn't mean he needs to fight alone. Ichigo's got friends & most of all, a family that'll support him ~ a former Captain as a father, a motherly sister, & Karin, a natural-born fighter in hopes to reach lengths to be of assistance to Ichigo's endeavors as a Shinigami/Quincy Hybrid. With Fuuka....nope.

So who do you think won this BCC Round? Karin from Bleach or Fuuka from Cyclops Shojo Saipu? Comment below and let me know. There are 5 more BCC Rounds (Finale is on September 29th). Until then, you all stay classy now.

Affinity #55 - The Future of the Ishida (Masaki & Ryuken)

Did you all know that Ryuken Ishida, Uryu's father, was once supposed to wed Masaki Kurosaki? Masaki was the last of the Kurosaki(s) and was adopted into the Ishida household so as to protect her as one of the last Quincy. This also was an opportunity to keep the Quincy bloodline of the Ishida Family pure if Masaki & Ryuken were to wed. However, destinies would intertwine once Masaki became acquainted with Isshin Shiba, 10th Division Captain & future husband. Could you imagine if Ryuken & Masaki did wed, had XXX, and bore a son/daughter that wasn't named Ichigo? Could you imagine if Masaki and Isshin never met? I wonder if Ryuken had a thing for Masaki or was it just all for the future of the Ishida Family? As seen in the picture, it depitcs Ryuken being worried over Masaki's attack by the hollow. The fact of the matter is that it's their history together that'll define our main hero's relevance in the story. This also explains why Ichigo is a hybrid child ~ possessing both Shinigami & Quincy abilities that'll be beneficial in the takedown of the Wandenreich. Eventually Masaki & Isshin bore Ichigo, Karin, & Yuzu whereas Ryuken wedded Kane Katagiri, Uryu's Mother. Their history together are what defines the ongoing rivalry/tensions between the Shinigami & Quincy.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Affinity. Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. Until then, you all stay classy + look forward to tomorrow's BCC post & WBCR (if chapter's available).

BCC #10 - Rangiku Matsumoto vs. Lucy Heartfilia (Big-BEEWBED Blondes)

VS.

If you saw these two gorgeous women giving you "the look," what would you do? Both got @$$ & T!T$ and, depending on your preference, they're both blondes. Both always showing the goods as well as giving us, the audience, a reason to watch their respective series. Both kick major @$$ in their series and it just comes to show that looks....aren't everything. One's a Death God & the other is a Celestial Spirit Mage. To be honest here, I love these two women not because they're powers are unique, but my goodness ~ the amount of fan-service surrounding these two is just too damn high. So which Blonde is truly the ideal girl for you? Is it the Death God who is a drunkard & always flaunts her BEEWBZ or perhaps the Celestial Spirit Mage who was born into a wealthy family & also flaunts her BEEWBZ? Today's anticipated Blonde Matchup is between Bleach's BEEWBilious Rangiku Matsumoto & Fairy Tail's @$$tacular Lucy Heartfilia. Take into account that Personality, HCA Levels, & BEEWBZ will contribute to who'll win in the end as well relevance/idealism. Let's jam on some Big-@$$ BEEWBZ!

Personality (Rangiku)
Growing up in starvation and abandonment can be pretty touch, but when a helping hands gets you going, things can definitely change for the better. Enlisting in the Gotei 13 as a member of the 10th Division, Rangiku is often seen slacking her responsibilities, being a heavy drinker, and displaying a easy-going & free-spirited attitude. She at times could be self-centered, but when it comes to helping out others ~ she'll go out of her way to carry her responsibilities as a Lieutenant-level Shinigami. In a nutshell, she's got your back in combat, is easy to talk to about feelings, and loves drinking.

Personality (Lucy)
Unlike Rangiku, Lucy grew up w/wealth, people who cared for her, and a roof over her head. However, her father neglected her own daughter and thus Lucy began her departure away from home into a world of magic. Upon joining Fairy Tail, she's gotten herself a new place to crash, learned to care/love/protect her friends, & develop her Celestial Spirit Mage abilities. Much like Rangiku, she flaunts her BEEWBS as a way to seduce/appeal to men's desire so as to make them do their bidding. In a nutshell, Lucy transformed from a rich Blonde girl to a Celestial Spirit Mage who cares for her friends & celestial spirits.

HCA Levels (Rangiku)
Upon seeing Rangiku for the first time, it was love at first sight. She not only is one of the Bleach mascots for women, but she serves under one of my all-time favorite Bleach characters, Toshiro Hitsugaya. Apart from her drinking habits, I found Rangiku to be extremely hot, appealing to the eye (blue eyes, big BEEWBZ, & a scarf around her neck), and uses Ash to fight off her opponents. Whenever I see Rangiku, I begin to question whether or not the Bleach characters are actually looking at her or staring at her knockers.

HCA Levels (Lucy)
Very much like Rangiku, Lucy's appearance was love at first sight. She's the mascot for Fairy Tail women & is the main protagonist (alongside Natsu). I mean there's a lot of hot-@SS FT women, but Lucy is definitely up there on the hottest FT chicks (next to Erza, Cana, Mirajane, Juvia, etc). I'd also like to point out that the amount of Fan-service in FT is crazy, but that all the more makes Lucy appealing the eye. Lucy also is a Celestial Spirit Mage ~ she can whoop your @$$ with her Zodiac Keys. Like Rangiku, I begin to question whether any of the FT characters are looking Lucy in the eye or simply at her BEEWBZ.

BEEWBZ (Rangiku)
That bath scene.....OH MAH GAHH!!!!!!!!!!

BEEWBZ (Lucy)
OH MAH GAHH!!!!!!!! (over 9000!)

Final Decision
And the winner is....
Lucy got the keys to my heart and that's why I chose her from the start. She's quite a gal can't you see. Underneath that skin is a heart beating for thee. She's got the personality to match her weaponry, but man does she leave us sighing breathlessly. You got to dig those big BEEWBZ she got and I can't lie, I like them a lot. Her role in story is of utmost importance, but Rangiku doesn't give that much of a performance. Fairy Tail is nothing without Lucy and I wonder in real life if she wears clothes with the tagline "Juicy." Lucy's overall depth as a character is without question, but even if you guys are showing aggression...it's true that Rangiku's limited time in Bleach doesn't have much progression. Lucy in Fairy Tail also has shown more skin, but is that a sin? Does that constitute that it's a sure win? Well, I said from the start.... Lucy wins and there's no tearing us apart. Rangiku, I love you, but your performance is lacking....Tite Kubo needs to show off more of his characters or he deserves a smacking.

So who do you think won? Rangiku Matsumoto from Bleach or Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail? Did you all enjoy the stupid poetic verdict? I know I could've elaborated more, but it pretty much sums up my thoughts on why Lucy won ~ Lucy's relevance in Fairy Tail is more than Rangiku in Bleach. Though Rangiku is a supporting character, there are far more other supporting characters in Bleach that have more screen-time. With Lucy, she won because she's one of the major protagonists. Anyways, BCC Month is ending on September 29th (a total of 6 more rounds). Until then, you all stay classy now.

BCC #9 - Momo Hinamori vs. Subaru (Big-BEEWBED Sweethearts)

VS.

I'd like to apologize in advance for posting the BCC Round a day late, but the show must shown on regardless. Welcome back to BCC Month where our lovely Bleach girls will BEEWB-to-BEEWB against various Anime chicks from multiple series (EX: FMA, Black Lagoon, Inuyasha, etc). So far Bleach has won once whereas the other Anime girls are favored more. Today's Matchup is the sweethearts ~ kind-hearted women who've taken the time to help out others in need. They may not be physically strong, but they are the morale support any man would need, right? They care for one's wellbeing, learned to combat evil when need be, & overall display a sense of innocence because they are pure. One is a Death God & the other is a Avatar (An online character). Determined and often soft-spoken, these two put the "Sweet" in sweetheart. Our Match is between Bleach's 5th division Lieutenant, Momo Hinamori, & .Hack//Sign's Leader of the Crimson Knights ~ Subaru (No, not the car). Let's jam on some BEEWBZ!

Personality (Momo)
Momo Hinamori is a very determined, upbeat, easygoing, & friendly Shinigami. She became a Shinigami in order to follow in the footsteps of then-Captain, Aizen Sousuke. She is Toshiro Hitsugaya's childhood friend and often is seen as a sibling-like figure to him. However, Momo also has displayed anger/sadness when almost killing Toshiro for believing he was responsible for killing Aizen. Since Aizen's defection, Momo was psychologically damaged because the one person she came to respect turned out to be truly despicable. However, over time she's seen working alongside new Captain Shinji Hirako and continues her duties as Lieutenant.

Personality (Subaru)
.Hack/Sign is the one of the very 1st Anime that I tuned in to watch when it premiered on Toonami and, much like Ichihime, my favorite couple were the protagonists ~ Tsukasa & Subaru. What drew me to Subaru was how soft-spoken she was despite being the renowned Leader of the Crimson Knights. Apart from her character just being an Avatar to a online gamer, Subaru displays a determined personality since she's a mediator of disputes both inside & outside the guild. She's a caring woman who is deeply rooted to her position in protecting others as well as bringing peace to the world.

HCA Levels (Momo)
To me, Bleach girls falls into 2 categories ~ having huge Knockers or being extremely cute. Sometimes their can be both, but most times the cute factor has more of a role. Momo is a pretty-well drawn character & the moment I saw her ~ I was attracted to her. I wanted to know more about her ~ her motivation behind why she enlisted in the Gotei 13, her eagerness to obey & please her former Captain's commands, & her willingness to go through lengths despite being impaled by her Captain. Her character overall was appealing just on the basis of what she went through, how she had to cope with it, and her eventual acceptance that Aizen is no more. That and I love how her & Toshiro were so close ~ definitely a cute pair.

HCA Levels (Subaru)
Subaru's Avatar character consists of a short-blue haired woman that has Angel wings, wields an axe, and wears clothing that reveals her abdomen. Since she was one of the 1st Anime chicks I was introduced to (next to DBZ & Pokemon girls), I found her to be cute at the time. There's an attractive quality in Subaru because of her soft-spoken demeanor, but also displaying a determined personality when it comes to peace & harmony. She's an appealing character to be around, but that only stems from the fact that her position is of upmost importance. Take away her position and she'll just be an ordinary player Avatar living in what seems to be a RPG-filled world.

BEEWBZ (Momo)
They aren't as developed as Rangiku's so.... I'd say they're small.

BEEWBZ (Subaru)
Not much to say since .Hack/Sign rarely displays any fanservice. I'd say they're small.

Final Decision (Momo vs. Subaru)
And the winner is...
Though Subaru plays 2nd to the main character in .Hack/Sign, this is a scenario in which a supporting character can take the spotlight and have just as much relevance as any other character. I haven't seen .Hack//Sign since I was a kid and looking back on it, I found the show to be rather boring and irksome to watch at times. At the time, I was invested in Tsukasa & Subaru's relationship than I do with the overall story, but with Momo Hinamori ~ I was invested in both her character and her overall role in story. Despite being supporting, she plays a huge role in Toshiro's life considering their childhood friends & they almost killed each other over a misinterpreted note by Aizen surrounding the man w/supposedly turned on him. Psychologically damaged, Momo continued believing that something must've swayed Aizen to turn the other cheek despite Aizen being bad since the beginning. Momo was impaled by Aizen and yet Momo shows compassion & understanding for his well-being ~ wanting to talk to him rather than start a war against him & newfound allies. Momo has to overcome so much in order to get to where she is now ~ serving under Shinji Hirako & fighting a new enemy. In the past, Momo solely joined the Gotei 13 because of Aizen Sousuke and now that her admirer turned out to be the granddaddy of all Evil, Momo had to go through the 5 stages of Grief in order to revert back to her usual upbeat, helpful, kind, & cheerful self. To me, that has much more significance as a character. Subaru may be the Leader of the Crimson Knights, but rarely do I remember her role considering the other boring supporting characters took away her screen-time. Momo is the clear winner and a epitome of someone whose learned to overcome the odds in order to start her life anew.

So who do you think won? Momo from Bleach or Subaru from .Hack//Sign? Comment below and let me know. Look forward to BCC posts on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays until September 29th. I do apologize once again for the delay, but I promise it won't happen again. Until then, you all stay classy now,

Throwback #57 - The Good, Bad, & The Ugly (The Old 12th)

Kisuke Urahara is quite the comedic shop keeper that Team Ichigo has come to know and rely on, but deep down ~ he was once a well-respected Captain of the Gotei 13 and the one solely responsible for the creation of the Research & Development Institute. Aside from his comedic demeanor, Kisuke is quite an intimidating Captain and looks truly are to be deceiving. The formation of the 12th Division as seen in the picture sets a tone of sadness since the 3 will part ways. Hiyori becomes a Visored, Kisuke is banished to the Human World for the "experimentation" of Hollows & Shinigami, and Mayuri became the twisted successor to Kisuke's legacy. A child, a comedian, & a clown ~ this was the 12th Division and looks truly are deceiving. Despite Hiyori's size, she can kick major tutelage when defending herself in the Maggot's Nest. Mayuri's imprisonment pretty much sums up what kind of life he'll led once the bars open him for newfound opportunities. Lastly, Kisuke's approach as Captain not only took Hiyori by surprise, but he proved that a line can be divided by Shinigami & Hollow. They truly are the Good, the Bad, & the Ugly.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Throwback. Look forward to more Throwbacks every Friday. Until then, you all stay classy now. BCC post will be up momentarily (sorry for delay).

RBT #39 - Dazzling Strawberry Daydream

Remember when Orihime Inoue in the Fullbringer Arc daydreamed about Ichigo being in a suit & tie? We sure did considering it was a pretty sporadic moment + I loved every second of it. This is another Ichihime moment and as you all aren't aware yet ~ I'm a huge Ichihime fan. Ichihime is the equivalent of Cloud & Tifa from FF ~ they are destined and make a pretty great couple. When I saw this scene in both the Anime/Manga, I was laughing because it's a cute moment in which Orihime's fantasies get the better of her since she truly is in love with our main Strawberry hero. What we still have yet to see is if Ichigo holds the same feeling that Orihime has for him. We'll just have to wait and see, but for now ~ fantasizing is all they can do.

I hope you enjoyed this week's penultimate RBT. The last RBT will up next week & following the next Thursday, the 1st Rhetorical post will be up. Until then, you all stay classy.

BCC #8 - Tier Harribel vs. Motoko Kusanagi (Big-BEEWBED @$$-Kickers)

VS.

Welcome back to BCC Month where I match up Bleach girls against various Anime chicks from multiple franchises and they'll go BEEWB-to-BEEWB on whose the ideal girl and for the most part, what makes them appealing/attractive to us viewers. In the last 7 Rounds, the various girls from multiple Anime series have won whereas only 1 Bleach girl (6 to 1 in a nutshell). However, that's not to say that the Bleach chicks are ugly. I find that most of the Bleach girls are either one of two things ~ relevant vs. irrelevant to the story. However, even irrelevance (supporting) can take the spotlight over something that's relevant (major). In today's Round, I paired up these two because I found them to be both calm, cool & reserved during conflict. Today's Matchup is Bleach's 3rd Espada herself ~ Tier Harribel & Ghost in the Shell's very own mascot ~ Motoko Kusanagi. Take into account that personality, HCA Levels, & BEEWBZ play a role in the final decision. Without further ado, let's jam on some BEEWBZ!

Personality (Tier Harribel)
Unlike most cliche villains where their primary purpose is to act vile, despicable, and repulsive, Tier Harribel is calm, reserved, and focused at the task given to her by then-master Aizen Sousuke. And unlike most villains who treat their underlings like sh*t, Tier Harribel genuinely cares for her underlings' wellbeing and would rather risk her life than to see them get hurt. Tier Harribel's only outburst was when Aizen, a man he came to respect and look up to, betrayed her. Other than that, Tier Harribel is a motherly Arrancar whose passion for compassion & understanding towards her subordinates is without question anything but antagonistic.

Personality (Motoko Kusanagi)
Motoko Kusanagi is the main protagonist in the Ghost in the Shell series/films and thus her relevance as a character is of upmost importance. She's a cyborg whose incredibly skilled deduction & hacking. Since she's a member of the Public Security Section 9, she's highly intelligent, strong-willed, and physically empowering. She's a complete badass that shows that you don't mess with cyborgs and looks are to be deceiving.

HCA Levels (Tier Harribel)
Tier Harribel hands down is my favorite Bleach female character. Aside from her badassery, there was a lot of depth to her character. She's the first antagonist that didn't portray any antagonistic personalities and her overall mannerisms completely are opposite amongst her fellow Espada. In her pre-release form, she displayed a good portion of her body whereas in her released form, her BEEWBZ are given a pretty good view (Censored on TV, Uncensored in Comic). To me, Harribel is sexually appealing in terms of her attire and her charm as an Espada made me attracted to her right away.

HCA Levels (Motoko Kusanagi)
Despite being a cyborg, Motoko is quite a looker. If you've seen her in the Anime series/films, she's quite something. Though her mannerisms are entirely fixated on the tasks given to her on thwarting cyber-terrorism, she's displayed a sense of duty, honor, and chivalry amongst her companions. She may not be the best in terms of socializing, but when you need someone to cover your @$$ ~ there's definitely appeal there. To me, Motoko is attractive in the sense that professionalism = sexyness.

BEEWBZ (Tier Harribel)
OH MY GAHH! Nuff said.

BEEWBZ (Motoko Kusanagi)
Again, OH MY GAHH!

Decision
Despite Tier Harribel being my favorite Bleach female character, we have yet to see her role in war between Shinigami & Quincy. She played only 3rd to Aizen's meticulous and well-crafted character whereas both Starrk & Baraggan played 1st and 2nd. With Motoko, she's the star of the Ghost in the Shell series. Her complex nature in things stems from the fact that her primary motive is fixated on stopping cyber-terrorism. She's physically strong, intelligent, and overall displays a sense of duty compared to that of Tier Harribel. Though I love Tier Harribel's mannerisms & overall genuine concern for her subordinates, the same can also be said with Motoko since she's more of a team-player since she's in charge of Public Security Section 9. Motoko's displayed more openness to finishing the job at hand + protecting her comrades compared to Tier Harribel who was about to strike down Captain Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, but was completely interrupted. This sums up actions speak louder than words. Motoko's character is given more depth since she's portrayed in 3 Anime renditions of Ghost in the Shell & 2 films. Tier Harribel is likable and all, but I gotta give credit to Motoko ~ femininity isn't needed to show that badass chicks with guns have appeal to them than someone whose femininity is displayed from her wardrobe & cool demeanor. Both are badasses in their own right, but in this man's opinion ~ I think Motoko is the ideal woman showcasing that if you're ever in a pitch, Motoko's there. With Tier Harribel, her relevance to the story is put on hold considering her defeat at the hands of Aizen gave rise to a new emerging threat that easily managed to deal with her. On the other hand, Motoko isn't weak by any means and gives new meaning to ~ "hot badass cyborg."

So who do you think won? Tier Harribel from Bleach or Motoko Kusanagi from the Ghost in the Shell series/films? Comment below and let us know. Look forward to BCC posts on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays up until September 29th. Until then, you all stay classy now. WBCR & Blog Update is down below.

WBCR - Mine or your Zombies? (Grade: B)

Seems like Bleach came out earlier than expected since recent Manga have been released on Thursdays. So what did I think of this week's chapter? Well, it's a huge improvement from last week's considering Pepe is about to Pe-bye pretty soon (from the looks of it). In this week's chapter, the mad scientist and clown who'll haunt you in your dreams, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, creates a drug that will make Giselle's zombified victims his own. Both Kensei & Rose quickly dealt with Hisagi and Mayuri, over-explaining everything to the point where it's science-fiction mumbo-jumo, explicates that Giselle's zombification ocurrs depending on the reiatsu of that individual. Mayuri's drug allows him to replace the blood in the individual w/his own and he even went so far as to say that he has a blood sample of everyone in the Soul Society. Way to go above and beyond, but my goodness does that sound creepy.....well it's Mayuri after all. Though Byakuya sees it as dishonorable, Mayuri finds that it is beneficial to preserving & safe-keeping the wellbeing of the Seireitei. Giselle was stabbed and it's unaware if SHE was killed. Remember when Yumichika had to say that line "you reek of semen" to Giselle? Well Mayuri just called Giselle a Zombie Chick ~ Giselle is a chick, case-f*cking closed. After Mayuri concludes this, stupid @$$ pig of a Quincy Pepe shows up to instill his "Love" on both Kensei & Rose, but falls victim since Mayuri's victims don't know what love is (Baby don't hurt....No more). Pepe gets his @$$ kicked and then Liltotto shows up behind him. What will Gluttony do to Love? Will Love by consumed by Gluttony? Will Gluttony & Love work side-by-side? Or does Gluttony have another motive w/Love's presence? We'll just have to wait and see....

Overall I dug this chapter because man did Pepe get his fat-@$$ kicked, Mayuri's smart & scary (Note: Don't make him your enemy). and Mayuri's drug could actually prevent any more further casualties from happening all in order to protect the Seireitei (Soul Society). Though I wanted to see more action, it's a huge improvement from seeing stupid-@SS Pepe. I give this week's Chapter a B. So what did you think of this week's chapter? Comment below and let me now. As always, look forward to WBCRS when chapter is available on http://mangastream.com/ or http://www.mangapanda.com/. Until then, you all stay classy now.

Bleach Zealot Blog Update (09/10/14)

Good Afternoon Ladies & Gentlemen. I'd like to personally thank you for following/skimming through the Bleach Zealot blog. I do my upmost to lay out various posts surrounding Tite Kubo's marveled Anime series: Bleach. It's thank to you guys that we have the Best of the Best posts and our page views are going up per day. From time to time I'll be giving you incoming news on what I'm planning to do on my Blog. So here's the news:

1) Both Affinity & Throwback posts (Tuesdays & Fridays) will end in mid-2015. Affinities & Throwbacks will go up to 100 posts (currently in the 50s) w/the Affinities end date on July 28, 2015. I currently am unaware of what I'll do to replace these two long-running segments, but mid-2015 is still far away. I believe ending both these segments w/100 posts is a great way to end them properly. Until then, continue to look forward to Affinities & Throwbacks every Tuesday & Friday.

2) RBTs will end on the 40th RBT post. Currently, there are 38 of them and, in all honesty, I only added this segment because it displays the unimportant/nitpicks going on around the show/comic. I didn't have much of an idea on what to post on Thursdays and thus RBTs were born. Though this segment will be down in a couple of weeks, I will replace it with what I'd like to call: Rhetorical(s). Rhetorical(s) is a segment that will properly introduce my take on various Anime(s) that I've come to know and love. I will give in-depth analysis on why you, the audience, should look into these series because they truly are groundbreaking marvels. Though many of the titles are popular, I still wanted to formally address it's relevance to the Anime community & it's overall genuine impression in the World of Entertainment. The 1st Rhetorical post will be up in a couple of weeks NOTE: The word Rhetorical also means expressing in terms of impressing/persuading.

3) There'll be more than 1 BCC Month. Girls, Girls, Girls by Jay-Z sums up why I'd like to continue. So far there are 2 planned collaborative BCC Months in the future: Anime vs. Videogame Chicks & Bleach vs. Fairy Tail Chicks. BCC Month will continue in later November after the end of BCC 1. There will be no Fight Night/BCC posts throughout October.

Thank you so much for following me on a Bleach Zealot's journey. Though Bleach is ending just around the corner, the posts must go on w/new fresh ideas coming in to replace the old and worn out. New & better things are coming and I hope you all continue to follow me through this epic. As we always say here: "You all stay classy now!"

Affinity #54 - Strawberry & Melon (Ichigo & Rangiku)

All guys, in my opinion, have sexual desires/lusts. I think that statement goes without saying, but the natural course of things is true love conquers all. As we all know, I'm a huge Ichihime fan and I want to see the two of them more often in the Manga. However, there was a time in which Ichigo's sexual lust arose when Rangiku tried seducing Ichigo into letting her stay at his house. Not only would Ichigo be able to contain himself, but his family & Kon would come to the conclusion that Ichigo has a hot blonde as a girlfriend + Rangiku may have recognized that Ichigo's father is her old Captain. When you got a blonde like Rangiku seduce you, you have a variety of options. 1) Let her stay. 2) Let her stay. 3) LET HER STAY. And 4) WHY THE F*CK WOULD YOU NOT WANT HER TO STAY? Rangiku's Melons ~ nuff said. I mean wouldn't you want to pork her? She's giving you a little something something in return if you say yes, right? Ichigo in this scene is so innocent that he had no choice but to say No because of what he may do, what his family may say, and more importantly ~ how Ichigo will cope with another girl in his room besides Orihime. To me, this scene cemented what I think of their relationship ~ friends. That's all it's ever going to be, but think of the possibilities if Ichigo were to allow her to stay. It wouldn't be Ichihime, it'd be IchiRan KuroMoto. All in all, their friends that fight to preserve the Soul Society & the Human World.

I hope you all enjoyed this week's Affinity. Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. Until then, you all stay classy now. Tomorrow, there'll be an announcement regarding scheduling on my Blog.

BCC #7 - Tatsuki Arisawa vs. Rin Kujou (Big-BEEWBED Fighters)

VS.

Good Morning everyone and welcome back to another installment of BCC Month (August 25th-September 29th) where Bleach girls go BEEWB-to-BEEWB against various Anime girls. Over the course of BCC, personality, HCA levels, & BEEWBZ have to be taken into account in the Matchup(s) as well depth of the character (relevance ~ main vs. support). Like I said before, a person whose depth in the story has a lot more gravitas to that character + ideal (concept of character), but supporting characters can just as well take the spotlight since they too have some relevance. Though the criteria of the BCC has been explicated, in the future ~ there'll definitely be changes on how BCC is done. BCC Month #1 is a trial run and so far, Bleach has only won once whereas the Anime Coalition. There'll be evenly-matched Matchup(s) later on, but for now ~ the show must go on. In today's Matchup, we have two supporting characters that are overprotective of their friends as well as possessing the ability to kick some major @$$ (one with their fists and the other with Kendo). Our lovely ladies are Tatsuki Arisawa from Bleach & Rin Kujou from To-Love-Ru. Let's jam on some BEEWBZ!

Personality (Tatsuki)
For the most part, Tatsuki is a protective and level-headed individual. However, there were times where she has elicited anger when being provoked, notably from Chizuru. She's known Ichigo the longest and is rather keen on his upbringing, wanting to bring some joy in his life since she was Ichigo's only friend at the time. Tatsuki is protective of Orihime's safety as she constantly is being harassed by Chizuru as well being fawned by all the men in the school. Tatsuki, despite being a supporting character, is very close to both Orihime & Ichigo as they all care for one another.

Personality (Rin)
On many levels, Rin is the same as Tatsuki is personality and character. She's rather expressionless and formal, but is prone to anger whenever Rito is involved in his Ecchi shenanigans. Much like Tatsuki is towards Orihime, Rin serves bodyguard to Saki Tenjouin alongside Aya Fujisaki and is highly proficient in the art of Kendo. Whenever Rito was involved, Rin would often come to Saki's aid and try to do away with Rito's presence, but after Rito saved her ~ Rin has developed feelings for him. Rin's attachment to Saki & Aya stem from the fact that they're childhood friends.

HCA Levels (Tatsuki)
Tatsuki's a character whose hair grew from short to long in the course of 17 months. To me, when she had short hair, I thought she was cute & petite, but after the time-skip, not only did her hair grew longer, but so did her BEEWBZ. Being a protective and level-headed person is quite charming in my opinion and when you put friends over yourself ~ that's an attractive and appealing quality I see in any lady. To me, Tatsuki (before-&-after) is a hot, attractive, and cute individual that Ichigo is blessed to being childhood friends with.

HCA Levels (Rin)
Rin's character from To-Love-Ru to its sequel To-Love-Ru Darkness went through substantial change ~ notably in role. In the original Anime/Manga, Rin was in the sidelines and didn't much screen-time whereas in the To-Love-Ru Darkness, she's becoming more of a pivotal character surrounding Rito's Harem. A girl skilled in the art of Kendo, protective of her friends, &, with any To-Love-Ru girl, possessing pretty impressive knockers ~ that in all is a hot, cute, and appealing girl to be with. When she fell for Rito after being saved, it was the first time she elicited emotion and that's pretty damn cute.

BEEWBZ (Tatsuki)
If you've read the Bleach Manga, there's usually shorts/mini segments at the end (in earlier chapters). Kon said that Tatsuki had small breasts where in actuality ~ Tatsuki wore a C cup. Clearly shown after 17 months, Tatsuki's BEEWBZ grew.

BEEWBZ (Rin)
Since I don't want to get in too much trouble for showing BEEWBZ on my Blog (I technically showed it once), I found a censored picture of Rin's BEEWBZ. Now I know that you'd rather see the uncensored version of the picture, but trust me when I say they're pretty big like most To-Love-Ru girls' BEEWBZ.

Decision
And the winner is...
In my opinion, To-Love-Ru girls expose more skin, are well-drawn, & have more of a role than most of the Bleach girls (excluding Orihime, Rukia, & Yoruichi). Though Rin's character technically is supporting, she's paving way for her to be involved in the current To-Love-Ru Darkness arc revolving around Momo's plan to create "Rito's Harem" with Rin being one of lovely ladies that will fall for him. That in itself is a supporting character getting the spotlight for her relevance is much more than just good lucks & nice BEEWBZ. Rin has potential to be a part of Rito's Harem and it's clearly hinted that she'll definitely be shown in more chapters involving our main characters. With Tatsuki, her role as a supporting character didn't change. When Aizen was about to kill Tatsuki & her friends, that was the most we've seen Tatsuki as well as the time where Tatsuki punched Ichigo for not knowing the whereabouts of Orihime. Rin's character development is steadily growing whereas Tatsuki remains the same ~ a support that'll always be Ichigo's friend regardless if he stays in Karakura Town or in the Soul Society. To me, Rin is the clear winner because of her growth from a side character w/very little relevance to a character who stole the spotlight and now is one of the central ladies revolving around Rito's Harem. Though Tatsuki & Rin are the same in persona, I can't help but find it cute that Rin's personality changed when Rito saved her ~ the cliche of prince saving princess and falling in love in return. Now...Rin's love for the opposite gender begins.

So who do you think won the 7th BCC Round? Tatsuki from Bleach or Rin from To-Love-Ru? Comment below and let me know. As always, look forward to BCC Rounds Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays up until September 29th. There'll be a special announcement regarding scheduling on Wednesday. Until then, you all stay classy now.
