Ah remember this scene in Bleach? Karin said he's just an elementary student, but is actually captain level and has a lieutenant under his command. This episode is nonetheless a filler, but what makes it stand out is the relationship between Karin and Toshiro, both whom are fond of soccer and of each other. Toshiro, while staying in the world of the living, has to adjust just like everyone else, but upon meeting Karin - he and Karin instantly became friends. Toshiro's soccer skills are unmatched and with that beign said, Karin made her move. It's unclear whether fans believe Toshiro X Karin is a good affinity, but I will say it's a cute one. I mean in this episode, Karin finds out Toshiro is a Shinigami much like her brother. Knowing this, Karin begs Toshiro to tell her if he knows Ichigo Kurosaki, her brother. Ichigo is out there protecting those he cares about, reassuring Karin that Ichigo is alright and well. However, what made this episode stand out was the picture. Karin teases Toshiro, praising and insulting him at the same time. Toshiro may be a captain-class Shinigami, but that doesn't stop Karin from referring to him as a "elementary student." This angers Toshiro because, much like some characters in the series, they look down on Toshiro just because of his age, height, and that he's a prodigy. Rangiku is laughing her ass off while Toshiro retaliates by saying he isn't a elementary student. Personally, I like the Karin X Toshiro affinity (may make an Affinity post about it later) and that scene in that filler episode - priceless.
