A huge @$$ meteorite is plunging towards Soul Society. Both allies and enemies are fearful for their lives. Who can possibly save the day and be a badass at the same time? Who better than to call the Demon himself - Kenpachi Zaraki. At the start of the chapter, both the Shinigami & Sternritter are wondering what the hell Gremmy is doing, but it wouldn't be long before our hero & badass, Kenpachi, releases his Zanpaktou. Drink - Nozarashi is the name of Kenpachi's Zanpaktou and as seen in the last couple pages, the Meteorite is no more. This is where Bleach fans are speculating what his Zanpaktou can do. Does it allow him to absorb anything? Does it destroy anything & condense it into reishi for Kenpachi to absorb? OR is it perhaps a big @$$ mother****** blade that can cut through anything while his sword strengthens? Those are my speculations anyways and I do hope Tite Kubo expands on what his sword can do. 50/50 one of the many Bleach fans out there are probably spot-on on their speculation of what Kenpachi's sword can do, but in the meantime - it's a sight to see. That big @$$ sword is the size of Love's Tengumaru (in Shikai) & it's quite something to be expected from the Demon himself. He's like an executioner - destroying anything in its path so long as the job's done. Near the end the chapter, Kenpachi & Yachiru's time together is depicted ~ showcasing that neither had names in the beginning. The chapter can be summed up in 3 components:
1) Shinigami & Sternritters are fearful of Gremmy's imagining of a Meteorite plunging towards Soul Society (which destroys the Shakonmaku) that pretty much can do considerable damage on both sides - ally or enemy.
2) Drink - Nozarashi
3) Bye Bye Meteorite
That sums up the chapter pretty much. What will Gremmy do now? Do the Sternritter doubt leaving Gremmy in the hands of Kenpachi Zaraki? What does Kenpachi's sword REALLY do!? Anyways, I dug this chapter because it finally showcases Kenpachi's Zanpaktou and that the destructive imaginary powers of Gremmy are too much for the Shinigami and even the Sternritters to comprehend. I saw no problems whatsoever with thsi chapter ~ probably because Kenpachi is such a badass. I give this week's Chapter an A.
