Affinity #43 - I will protect you from now on (Ginjo & Tsukishima)

One of the most unexplained Affinities I could think of in all of Bleach is the fated meeting between Ginjo Kugo & Shukuro Tsukishima. As seen in the picture, it appears as if Tsukishima had no one growing up (or perhaps ran away from home) and Ginjo Kugo, former leader of Xcution, became Tsukishima's guardian/patriarchal figure. Much of their lives are unexplained and remain a mystery, but we do know that each member of the Xcution had suffered psychologically (lost someone) and want their very powers (calling it a curse rather than a blessing) to disappear. From the get-go, Tsukishima was alongside Ginjo whereas it seemed as if Tsukishima was the one leading Xcution (Book of End effects). Upon losing Ginjo, Tsukishima fell into depression and questioned why his savior/father-figure died so soon ~ shouting his name repeatedly to no end. It showed a brief flashback of their meeting, but not much else is seen or explained, but it can be seen that Tsukishima became close with Ginjo as he learned to utilize his powers over the course of their lives. It wouldn't be long before Tsukishima falls, but later ~ Ginjo & Tsukishima are together alongside Giriko & the Shiba siblings for the upcoming brawl between the Wandenreich & the Gotei 13.

So what do you think of this Affinity? Do you see it as a patriarchal figure (Ginjo) with Tsukishima or perhaps as brothers? Comment below and let me know. Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. Until then, you all stay classy now.
