WBCR - Dafuq you come from? (Grade: C)

Welcome back to another installment of WBCR posts where I review the recent Bleach chapter and give my thoughts/impressions on what happened as well as give a brief description as to occurred, whether relevant or irrelevant, in the chapter. The grading scale has notably been based on a A-F scale w/A exceeding all expectations as a chapter and F failing completely as it did not deliver. For the most recent chapters, most of them have been getting either Bs or Cs because, despite the build-up and pacing being inconsistent, it still is build-up nonetheless. This week's chapter is a C for the following reasons:

1) Kenpachi shows up in bewilderment before Mayuri & Nemu. Prior to having eluded rendezvous with the other Shinigami, Mayuri had a trick up his sleeve or two. However, he never counted on Kenpachi, Ikkaku, & Yumichika showing up out of blue just because Yamada, a member of the 4th division, let his guard down and the 11th division was easy to sneak in with the 12th. Now it's obvious the 11th and 12th division don't get along at all, but they are essential in turning the tide of this war. Mayuri is smart and tactful where Kenpachi has the brawns and is a special war potential alongside Ichigo & Aizen. However, with his appearance, it makes me wonder ~ Where the F is Yachiru? I remember she was fighting against the Wandenreich and she suddenly disappeared. Is she with them but offscreen? Is she still nowhere to be found? Did the 11th division give up on her because their is a slim chance that she'll just show up out of the blue? This begs an explanation. C'mon Kubo, don't keep up in a loop.

2) Grimmjow's the same and we love him for that! Much like Kenpachi, his reckless and battle-thirsty behavior are what make them so popular ~ they're badasses in their own right. Askin did not seee Grimmjow coming and we know it'll be Grimmjow's first confrontation with the enemy as an ally of Team Ichigo. Grimmjow, you one crazy sonuvabitch!

3) Bazz-B & Liltotto show up on one side of the gate where they want to duke it out against Yhwach & Haschwalth. However, I suspect something may/may not happen to them because Yhwach is on a whole new level and doesn't have regard for anyone except his own power & ambition. Haschwalth is powerful too, but we have no idea what his abilities are. This'll be an interesting confrontation, but the build-up leading to it may/may not match my my anticipations.

The chapter was relatively short as usual so, what did you think of the chapter yourself? I summed up the chapters in 3 bullet points and those alone were what you'd call the highlights. Did the chapter live up to your expectations, lie somewhere in the middle, or was it a complete let-down. Do comment below and let me know. WBCRs will be posted whenever chapter is available. Stay classy as always ladies & gentlemen.
