39) Wanna be the strongest in the world

The 39th Watch-list post is an Anime titled Wanna be the strongest in the world. Premiering in 2013 w/a total of 12 episodes, the story follows an Idol group that, during a TV Program, one of the idol members is viciously attacked and ridiculed by a Pro Wrestler. Another fellow member of the Idol group was annoyed that her friend was attacked and took it upon herself to become a a Pro Wrestler to teach them a lesson. However, this one particular Idol member found Pro Wrestling interesting and decides to go pro ~ torn between her Idol Group & Pro Wrestling. To be perfectly honest, the premise for the show was pretty basic, but the outline of the show was the amount of moaning & groaning from the Suplex City (a movie thats constantly used a lot throughout the series). The fan-service, don't even get me started with how many BEEWB & crotch shots. It's TOO DAMN HIGH! Now you ask me ~ Would I recommend it, watch/stream it, and/or buy it on DVD/Blu-Ray? Personally, I enjoyed the show because it's over-the-top, has a lot of fanservice, and the the plot is easy to follow. I will admit there's a plot-twist, but it's so predictable that you could definitely see it coming from episode 1. Overall, it's an enjoyable, but it's cliche as sh*t. I'd buy it just for the enjoyment factor of saying ~ Hey, I watched an Anime with a lot of moaning & a lot of throwing.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Watchlist post. Look forward to Watchlist posts on Thursdays. Until then, you stay classy as always.
