Affinity #2 - The Kurosaki Trio (Ichikaryusaki)

Before I start, I am well aware that Bleach came out earlier than usual and in this case, I will still be posting my review of it tomorrow morning - nothing's changed. Once a family, always a family. Today's affinity is the Kurosaki Siblings - Ichigo, Karin, & Yuzu. Ichigo Kurosaki's many reasons for becoming a Shinigami wasn't just because of Rukia, but to protect his family, especially his two little sisters. This caring trio was once really close when their mother, Masaki Kurosaki, was still alive. Still retaining a close relationship, Ichigo has somewhat changed after the events, trying to live a ordinary life while still remembering what happened that day to their mother. Ichigo wouldn't want any harm to come to his sisters and with Ichigo's gift in seeing spirits, Karin & Yuzu are soon to follow. Karin can see spirits whereas Yuzu senses that there's something there. Truly, Ichigo and his sisters are all unique in every aspect. Ichigo is our hero and with any hero, family and friends are going to be targets and its up to Ichigo to protect them with everything's he got.

Yuzu serves as the mother of the household whereas Karin is the laid back one in the family and our main hero is Ichigo. The tender love Yuzu has for her siblings is so strong, she constantly worries that something may or may not have happened to them. Yuzu is truly the mother-figure, constantly preparing the food, keeping everyone in check, smiles, and like any mother - worry for her family. Karin is the laid back one in the family, much like Ichigo, and is tomboyish in personality. Nothing girly about her sticks out, but like Yuzu, she worries for her brother and sister. Karin knows of Ichigo being a Shinigami and worries that he might get hurt, but nonetheless knows Ichigo is old enough and can take care of himself, even if Karin worries, she couldn't possible stop her brother from getting rid of Hollows and enemies alike.

This trio of siblings love, care, and worry for one another, just like any family. What makes this unique is Ichigo's profession w/Karin's knowledge and Yuzu's motherly concerns. Truly, they care for one another and hope that each can remain safe, at peace, and without harm. During the Fullbringer arc, there was confrontation between the three, but in the end, even through the turbulent times, they still will love one another.
