Affinity #33 - 8 masks, 1 family

In Bleach, you could say that they're a lot of species - Human, Shinigami, Quincy, Mod Soul, Bount (filler), Zanpaktou Manifestations (filler), and Hybrids (of Shinigami & Quincy). However, there is one group of people I want to talk about because they had a profound influence on our main hero ~ The Visored. These masked fighters showed up after Aizen's defection, forewarning Ichigo of the Hogyoku, the Arrancars under Aizen's command, and wanting to help Ichigo suppress the inner hollow within him. The Visored in one word are a family - there's the bickering younger sisters (Mashiro & Hiyori), the responsible older sister (Lisa), the bickering brothers (Love & Rose), and the responsible brothers (Shinji, Kensei, & Hachigen). These 8 combined create a formidable force of epic proportions - having powers that are on par with Arrancars. When it came to meeting Ichigo, it was like a new addition to the family was added ~ the little bickering troublesome brother of the Visored. I like this family because through thick and thin ~ they always stood together as 1, protecting each other, caring for one another, and ensuring that no one fights alone. That is what the Visored encompass (in my opinion) ~ A united family full of responsibility, fun, and togetherness. Even after escaping persecution from Central 46, they still found a way to stick together, control their inner Hollow, and later partake in their revenge against Aizen. They're neither friend nor enemy, but rather are on Ichigo's side because, after all, that's their little brother who'll save the day. Visored ~ 8 masks, 1 family. Well, with Ichigo ~ let's make it 9 masks, 1 family.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Affinity & my apologies for not posting last week's Throwback. Every Friday, there'll be 2 posts - Friday's weekly Throwback & a Bleach Fantasy post. As always, you all stay classy now and look forward to Affinities every Tuesday.
