Throwback #56 - Sealing the Deal

In many ways, Kisuke's sealing of Aizen can be counted as a victory for both the Shinigami & Human Worlds, but we have to recall that it's because of Kisuke's actions towards the Hogyoku that rose to Aizen's ascension into power. Both heavily were reliant on experimentation and theirsecrets, but Kisuke's Hogyoku not only had potential to draw the line between Shinigami & Hollow, but it was a heavy risk on what would happen if someone were to lay their hands on it. Kisuke's trust was brought into question when his identity was revealed to Team Ichigo ~ that he was a former Shinigami, former 12th division Captain, and the one responsible for almost killing Rukia for the sake of hiding the Hogyoku from Aizen's grasp. To Kisuke, it was a plan foiled once Aizen put the pieces together. Both are smart and attentive men bent on their goals, ambitions, and schemes, but at the end of the day ~ Kisuke sealed the deal when imprisoning Aizen, hoping to amend for the sins he's committed in the past and start anew as a faithful ally to Ichigo & the Soul Society.
