Affinity #98 - Strawberry Contact 2 (Ichigo & Yhwach)

Welcome to what I'd like to call the final stretch for the Affinity posts. For the last 4 Affinities (#97-100), I'm calling it the Strawberry Contact ~ explicating 4 Affinities with the one & only star of Bleach ~ Ichigo Kurosaki. The last Affinity post will be July 28th. Today's 98th Affinity surrounds the animosity between Ichigo Kurosaki & current antagonist & Leader of the Quincies, Yhwach. Ichigo, from the get-go, was unaware of the origins surrounding his parents' meeting & eventual demise of their mother, Masaki Kurosaki as well as the knowledge of Isshin initially being a Shinigami. Ichigo, since his birth, is a hybrid child ~ both Shinigami/Quincy blood is flowing through his veins. With this knowledge, Yhwach knew of Ichigo's birthright and was able to get underneath Ichigo's skin in explicating his reason of living. Much like Aizen, he is manipulative, cruel, and claims that he's known about Ichigo for quite some time. Of course this bothers Ichigo to no end because if there's anything he doesn't want to be reminded of ~ it's who he is. His destiny is constantly being justified to be something that he could never foresee and that's where we see the frustration of Ichigo's interactions with Aizen & Yhwach ~ He is but a man doing right and ridding wrong. If someone were to tell you of your destiny, a full plate it given to you. The question then becomes ~ would you want someone to fill your plate or would you fill the plate yourself? Not filling the plate at all is where Ichigo was and look what happened ~ he was fed so much data on his plate. Isshin being a Shinigami, Masaki's death theoretically been caused by Yhwach, and the ultimate evils already being "aware" of Ichigo's existence. Ichigo is at a brinking point where he just wants Yhwach to shut up and let him decide who he is and what he'll amount to. Ichigo being fed the "truth" by an evil is something he cannot accept and it's because of this that Ichigo must put an end to a man who is impeding upon everyone's wellbeing.
