Well, this is it ladies & gentlemen. We're approaching the climax of the Throwback posts.
Throwbacks will conclude on Friday, September 11th, 2015. This is my second longest-running segment (Affinities also ran for 100) and, like I've said before, all things must come to an end. Today's Throwback is when Orihime Inoue daydreams about seeing Ichigo in a suit & tie ~ blushing at the thought that her crush would have so much swag. This was shown in the time-skip after Aizen's imprisonment and illustrates Orihime's growing love & affection for her prince charming. Orihime, at this point, isn't really making any more advances to Ichigo, but of course when she's alone ~ she can't help but think about him because, well, he's so cool in Orihime's eyes. Orihime was literally the damsel in distress and to see Ichigo have such a profound influence on her friends & family shows how much Orihime values Ichigo in her life. So seeing Ichigo all swagged up is pretty funny because it's her supposed idealist view of Ichigo if he were to show any sort of romantic move towards her. I know there's a divide between Ichiruki & Ichihime fans, but this moment could potentially foreshadow that perhaps Orihime's view of Ichigo as the Gentlemen she wanted may/may not come true...we'll just have to see.
