The 100th Post - WBCR - The Finger! (Grade A-)

Oh boy, where to begin with this chapter. First off, it continues. The fighting is far from over and you know what - it's about damn time too. Last week's chapter was a hit-&-miss for me - it has its pros and cons. On one hand I liked Sui-Feng's Shunkou, but on the other hand was underestimating Buzz-B. So this week, it's leaning more towards the pros than cons. So let me get this out of the way:

Pros
+ Askin Nakk Le Vaar

+ Bazz-B & BG9 aren't dead just yet

+ The idea of foreseeing the Shinigami's strength without their Bankai

+ The idea that Bazz-B's character could have easily offset Captain Yamamoto's flames

+ BG9's appearance looks not all that bad

+ The FINGER! (LOL)

Cons
- The Shinigami's reaction to their supposed victories (never assume or underestimate)

So this week's chapter was pretty short in which I can cover it in 3 bullet points like so (No seriously, this week's chapter was short, simple, and was pretty much elaborating more on the Stern Ritters abilities and the underestimating part on the Shinigami's side):

*Sui-Feng vs BG9 - BG9 knew of Sui-Feng's abilities and is disappointed by her power

* Bazz-B could easily defeat Hitsugaya with just his finger alone

* Askin' elaborating on foreseeing the Shinigamu's growth, but it was all part of his Majesty's knowledge from the get-go

There you have it. Sui-Feng & Hitsugaya pretty much underestimated their opponents and are pretty much out of the races....or are they? This brings me to conclude that both sides underestimate each other, but there's always a trump card when you need it for the enemy side. So the question is - do the Shinigami have what it takes to defeat the Stern Ritter's trump card? Sui-Feng & Hitsugaya's defeat doesn't necessarily mean it's over for those fights (At least I hope so), but that it's going to be a long bloodbath. This is after all the finale of Bleach, its in its final chapters, but the arc will expand more than 50+ chapters (I hope so). So we have to deal with setting up fights, build-up of character development , and cliffhangers on Bankai & Stern Ritter powers. This week's chapter is a solid one - I'm giving it an A-, could have been more, but then again - it's a setup for what's to come for the Shinigami as they fight for their lives against these formidable foes.
