Senna (Movie): A Lost Love

The 1st Bleach Movie (Memories of Nobody) introduced a new damsel in distress named Senna. She is a Shingami, but the twist is that she recalls the memories of her living. Shinigami have no recollection of memories from the time they were living and Senna (being the exception) is "suspicious" by the Gotei 13. Ichigo met Senna while they were fighting blanks. Ichigo and Senna got to know each other to the point where some lady called them "a couple," but Ichigo denied all claims. When the Gotei 13 began to investigate Senna, it is shown that her status as a Shinigami are unknown and that her name and Zanpaktou are nonexistent. Ichigo swore to protect her, even if it meant to go against the Gotei 13 to do so. However, the antagonist later reveals himself and Senna's purpose and existence is something far more than what Ichigo and the Gotei 13 expected.

Senna will later (spoiler for those who haven't seen it) sacrifice herself by protecting Ichigo, a hinting that she'd die for Ichigo rather than to see him die. As Ichigo carries her back to the grave, Senna asks if her name was engraved on it, but it wasn't. However, Ichigo says that it is and tearfully, Senna disappears from Ichigo's shoulders. Senna really does care for Ichigo and says that she'll miss having fun with Ichigo (no sexual references), another hint that if she were to have lived longer, she may have grown more attached to him.
