At the very beginning of Bleach, Ichigo & his friends were overwhelmed with Gin Ichimaru's presence and as a result, were unable to enter the Seireitei. The other option was using the Shiba Clan's Cannon that'll fire them up towards Seireitei just so long as everyone's spiritual pressure compiles to form the cannonball. However, what Ichigo & his friends left out was the person behind the Cannonball - Kukaku Shiba - a woman, not a man. Everyone suspected Kukaku to be a 'he,' but nonetheless, the big-BEEWBED woman showed just how reliable, helpful, strong, and terrifying she was in helping out the Ryoka. I like Kukaku not only because of her BEEWBS, but because of her willingness to help out the Ryoka as well as having love & affection for her idiotic, bumbling, & tough brother Ganju. She may not show it, but an older sibling's love for their younger ones is special. Kukaku also has a funny side to her - punching Rukia continuously in the face when she kept apologizing for supposedly being the cause of Kaien Shiba's demise. However, deep down, Kukaku forgave her long ago if and only if Rukia would go up to her and apologize just once. Caring, tough, HOT, and affectionate - Kukaku's one tough woman you don't wanna cross. And the fact that Kukaku is portrayed by a woman just pretty much shows one of the many instances of comedy Bleach has to offer with its memorable characters, great storytelling, importance on character arc & design, and overall the phenomenal world Bleach has introduced us to.
