One of the very first Espada under Aizen's tutelage that Ichigo faces is the given the number Sexta and goes by Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. A fearsome foe, Grimmjow, alongside the likes of Byakuya, Kenpachi, & Ikkaku, become rivals to Ichigo. Grimmjow's very presence immediately causes danger as he did away with Rukia and Ichigo with ease (though Ichigo put more of a fight than Rukia who just got impaled by Grimmjow's arm). A bloodthirsty, reckless, and merciless foe ~ Grimmjow beats the living sh*t out of Ichigo since his colleague, Ulquiorra, was unable to do so given that he believed Ichigo's very power is unstable and that he needn't post a threat to Aizen. Unlike Ulquiorra, Grimmjow will defeat anyone or anything that gets in his way whether it be friend or foe. As explicated by Grimmjow's Fraccion, Grimmjow's power is quite fearsome and the enemy shouldn't underestimate the power of an Espada. Grimmjow is not only a bad-ass, but his ferocity in battle gives him the advantage as he only hungers for battle.
