Remember Rave Master? I remember that Anime being my sh!t whenever it premiered on Toonami. To my surprise, I happen to come across a Manga with the same art style titled Fairy Tail back in my High School Days. Needless to say, I was instantly hooked after reading the first couple chapters. Not only was I a fan of Hiro Mashima's work, but my goodness ~ I've never seen so much fan-service in an Anime before (Now, it seems as if anything and everything in Anime revolves around it). There are Anime(s) that literally only emphasize fan-service, but when it comes to Anime(s) that are action/adventure/comedy/drama ~ it's surprising to see FT pull off so much awesome fan-service. I mean you don't see as much fan-service in Bleach, but when you see the girls in FT ~ You'll be unable to keep your mouth from drooling from the pure sight of BEEWBZ & BOOTIE! I mean Fairy Tail, aside from the fan-service, is pretty damn entertaining of a read/watch. It's cool to see mages fight against one another with an onslaught of cool abilities, kick-@$$ weapons, and stylish move-sets. If you were to ask me who my favorite FT character is, it's Erza. Who wouldn't want the ability to change armor & weapons at will? You literally are well-equipped for most battles ahead and that's why Erza is so bad@$$, she put the A in @sskicking (that and she's pretty damn hot!). To name a few others ~ Natsu's power focuses on Fire, Gray's power is on Ice, Juvia's is on water, & Lucy's is the celestial spirits. Now all those abilities right there ~ I'd want them all. I'd breathe fire like a dragon, freeze things like Mr. Freeze, and squirt water like a Squirtle. All in All, FT is a just a fun time full of exciting action sequences, a world that's noteworthy of wishing it were real, fun characters/comrades to be around, and, of course, BEEWBZ to fondle. FT Anime/Manga is still continuing w/FT Anime spawning 2 series (1st series is 175 episodes & 2nd series is ongoing w/currently 27 episodes) and Manga with 400+ chapters. FT is definitely a Anime that's fun & exciting to get invested in. Two words: Mages & Guilds.
