Throwback #46 - Orihime's Resolve

In the very beginning of Bleach, Ichigo's friends, Chad & Orihime, were powerless and didn't possess any special abilities (although Chad was pretty durable). However, upon Ichigo's ascension into becoming Substitute Shinigami, his spiritual power influenced Chad & Orihime to develop powers of their own (as well as influence Ichigo's other friends to be spiritually aware). With this discovery, Orihime comes across a problem ~ Numb Chandelier, Orihime's first opponent. A hollow that takes control of others to do their bidding, Orihime was torn when she was forced to fight Tatsuki & protect herself from Chizuru. However, her resolve in saving her friends unlocked her abilities known as Shun Shun Rika. A power that can project shields, fire projectiles, and heal wounds ~ Orihime took it upon herself to due away with the hollow and protect her friends from any harm. This is a moment in Bleach where Orihime is pretty badass herself and where her gifts are truly utilized for the first time. She is, however, unaware that her very gifts diverge into the territory of Gods. Orihime, alongside Chad, Uryu, Rukia, & Renji ~ will eventually become Team Ichigo as they, together, preserve the Human, Shinigami, & now (due to the events of the Wandenreich's invasion) ~ Hollow worlds.

So what do you think of Orihime's resolve? Comment below and let me know. As always, look forward to Throwbacks every Friday. The roster for Bleach Kombat will be up sometime tomorrow. Until then, you all stay classy now.

RBT #28 - Donuts!!!

Orihime ~ you gotta love her. First she shows off her naval & cleavage in this week's chapter and now, she's loving Donuts. I mean that look on her face is so childish, cute, & adorable! "It's so good!" Orihime's love for food has been seen a few times, but when seeing her face + reaction to eating a Donut, it's seen as both random + adorable at the same time. I gotta admit, Donuts are pretty damn awesome, but when seeing Orihime eat it ~ it appears as if it's the best food she's ever eaten in her entire life and that's why this is a RBT ~ It's random as F*ck, but cute to look at it in the Bleach universe.

So what did you think of this week's RBT? Comment below and let me know. Look forward to RBTs every Thursday. Until then, you all stay classy!

BLEACH KOMBAT!!! (July 4th-August 25th)

VS.

What's up Ladies and Gentlemen ~ I got BIG BIG NEWS! MechG (as seen in Bleach Fantasy Month + assisting in 1 Affinity) and I (Stillmattic) are doing another collaborative Fight Night Throwdown and this time it's Bleach vs. Mortal Kombat! Yes, I do apologize for not having posted anything for the past Mondays, but remember ~ Fight Night posts take a lot of time, thought, and creativity to do and especially since it's a collaboration ~ both Mech G & I's times must be adjusted so we can work together to make this possible. On Saturday, I will be posting up the names of the 23 Bleach & Mortal Kombat fighters and, similar to Bleach Fantasy month, the fighters from both sides will be chosen at random and judged accordingly (weekly now) by either MechG or myself. Bleach Kombat month starts July 4th (Friday) and ends August 25th (Monday + My Birthday). Much like Bleach Fantasy month +1, Bleach Kombat posts will be Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays (MWF ~ Totaling 3 a week!!! w/Wednesdays + Fridays having back-to-back posts). Get ready ladies and gentlemen because it's....MORTAL BLEACH KOMBAT! Until then, you all stay classy now!

Be sure to check out MechG's sports blog ~ http://trueraiderlaker.blogspot.com/

WBCR - Friend or Foe? (Grade A)

What's up everyone, Stillmattic here and welcome to another installment of Wednesday's weekly WBCRs (Weekly Bleach Chapter Review). As you can see, the weekly Bleach meme is posted before than after. I'm going to change-it-up a bit for WBCRs by posting the graded meme 1st and secondly, talking about 2-3 crucial moments in the Bleach chapter (talking in segments rather than talk it out in full fell swoop). Without further ado, let us begin by talking about Bleach Chapter 538 ~ The Headless Star 5. Link to chapter:  http://readms.com/r/bleach/586/2422/1

Crucial Point #1 ~ 8 vs. 6 (Pg 9)

The first critical (or important) moment in this week's Bleach chapter is the set-up for the brawl between Sternritters: Bazz-B (H ~ The Heat), the unnamed old guy, Pepe, NaNaNa Najahkoop (Letter ~ U), Candice Catnipp (T ~ The Thunderbolt), Liltotto Lamperd (G ~ The Glutton), Meninas McAllon (P ~ The Power), & Giselle Gewelle (Z ~ The Zombie) VS. The Shinigami: Rukia Kuchiki (13th Division), Byakuya Kuchiki (6th Division), Renji Abarai (6th Division), Shuhei Hisagi (9th Division), Ikkaku Madarame (11th Division), & Yumichika Ayasegawa (11th Division). It's a 8-vs-6 Brawl and the anticipation that many fans are wondering is: Whose fighting who, Who is going to die, and Whose gotten stronger? Knowing this, Bazz-B isn't pleased with the Shinigami's arrival and attempts to do away with them so as to catch up with Ichigo, but the Shinigami aren't backing down anytime soon as they become the Sternritter's answer in a Brawl of Kill-or-be-Killed. As said previously, it's up for debate for whose fighting whom, but I'm curious to know how strong the Shinigami are NOW compared to before when they were getting their @$$es kicked. With 8 Sternritter, their'll be double or even triple-teams on whose fighting whom against the Shinigami, but it's bound to be a bloodbath in the end.

Crucial Point #2 ~ Orihime & Chad's intervention (Pg 17)

As soon as Ichigo discovers Uryu is in league with Yhwach & the Wandenreich, it worries Ichigo. Someone whom he could call a frenemy (both a friend and an enemy) has become his enemy and it clearly angers Ichigo to no end. Though the two didn't see eye-to-eye and are considered rivals, Ichigo respected Uryu for being both his frenemy and willing to go through any lengths to save their friends. Upon Uryu's descent into villainy, Ichigo questions Why, When, and How. Uryu tries to do away with Ichigo (or at least get him to disappear) until 2 surprise guests appear from a Garganta to thwart Uryu's attempts to hurt Ichigo ~ Chad & Orihime. And Yes, one of the things I'm going to be talking about is Orihime's BEEWBS. I mean, DAYUUUUM. When reading the comments at the end, people were saying similar things - Orihime's BEEWBS. I mean, did you see them? Her naval AND cleavage are exposed and that's.....F*cking Awwwwwwsum. I love Orihime and lemme tell ya, when I saw this picture ~ it was love (that cute face of concern for Ichigo's safety, her beautiful hairpins, and especially her BEEWBS). And Chad, buff as F*ck as he, being Ichigo's friend, stands their tall & firm ready to help out our hero. With their arrival, Uryu is torn, but knows that following Yhwach (at least in Uryu's opinion) is his only way to do 1-3 things: Figuring out his roots, Eliminating Shinigami once and for all as a Quincy, or following Yhwach's scheme as a fellow Quincy. Overall, Team Ichigo (as of now) is split as their former friend & ally has turned to the dark side.

Criucial Point #3 ~ Friend or Foe? (Pg 19)
As Uryu leaves with Yhwach, their are mixed feelings and, as said above, this worries and angers Ichigo to no end as just loss a true friend. Uryu's involvement and even meeting with Yhwach is kept in secrecy, but we do know that he reappears as an ally and successor to the throne to Yhwach's legacy. Uryu's motives are unclear, but as seen in this chapter, it appears that he had no choice. This brings me to when Rukia was taken to the Soul Society to face justice + to not allow any further harm to come to Ichigo & when Orihime left with Ulquiorra so as to prevent any more deaths from occurring. Uryu's decision to leave is a cry for help ~ perhaps he knows that it's for the best that he leaves before anything worsens. With the 8-vs-6 Sternritter/Shinigami brawl about to take place & Orihime & Chad's arrival, Ichigo must now do one of the following: Get answers from anyone who may know of Uryu's betrayal, assist in the Brawl, question Orihime & Chad who opened the Gargants up for them, or ask his or Uryu's Dad for clarification considering the Kurosaki-Ishida backstory.

Vercict (Thoughts, Beliefs, etc)
Overall, I like this set-up of BAB ~ Brawl (8-vs.6), Arrival (Orihime & Chad's Intervention), & Betrayal (Friend or Foe). It leaves room for debate on how Ichigo will handle this, but it is clearly depicting Ichigo's disappointment in this situation and his frustration in not finding a remedy in bringing Team Ichigo together as friends once more. With the Brawl about to take place, friends and enemies alike will fight to see who'll come out on top (personally I want the TGPZ sisters to live, but that's very VERY debatable). Orihime & Chad's arrival means that help is on the way, but unfortunately help was too late in trying to dissuade Uryu's defection to the Wandenreich. I'm curious to know where Tite Kubo's direction will be in next week's chapter and so, it is with great thought and belief that this week's chapter is: GRADE A.

So what did you think of this week's chapter (Yes, No, So-So?) and more importantly, what are your thoughts on this extended WBCR (talking in segments on 3 key points that I thought were important)? Comment below and let me know. As always, look forward to WBCRs every Wednesday (unless author is on break or Golden Week in Japan). Until then, you all stay classy now. Stay tuned for a special announcement coming up shortly on July.

Affinity #43 - I will protect you from now on (Ginjo & Tsukishima)

One of the most unexplained Affinities I could think of in all of Bleach is the fated meeting between Ginjo Kugo & Shukuro Tsukishima. As seen in the picture, it appears as if Tsukishima had no one growing up (or perhaps ran away from home) and Ginjo Kugo, former leader of Xcution, became Tsukishima's guardian/patriarchal figure. Much of their lives are unexplained and remain a mystery, but we do know that each member of the Xcution had suffered psychologically (lost someone) and want their very powers (calling it a curse rather than a blessing) to disappear. From the get-go, Tsukishima was alongside Ginjo whereas it seemed as if Tsukishima was the one leading Xcution (Book of End effects). Upon losing Ginjo, Tsukishima fell into depression and questioned why his savior/father-figure died so soon ~ shouting his name repeatedly to no end. It showed a brief flashback of their meeting, but not much else is seen or explained, but it can be seen that Tsukishima became close with Ginjo as he learned to utilize his powers over the course of their lives. It wouldn't be long before Tsukishima falls, but later ~ Ginjo & Tsukishima are together alongside Giriko & the Shiba siblings for the upcoming brawl between the Wandenreich & the Gotei 13.

So what do you think of this Affinity? Do you see it as a patriarchal figure (Ginjo) with Tsukishima or perhaps as brothers? Comment below and let me know. Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. Until then, you all stay classy now.

Throwback #45 - Uryu's First Strike

Man, this week seems to be an Uryu week. First he is getting some action with Yoshino (a kiss) and next, he's peeking at Orihime undressing in front of him (pretty Ballsy there). Now, Uryu saves Orihime from probably one of the most despicable, weak, and arrogant Shinigami out there ~ Jirobo Ikkanzaka, younger brother to the Gatekeeper ~ Jidanbo Ikkanzaka. Remember this Jirobo, attacking ladies is a p*ssy move and Uryu knocked your @$$ out. Not only did you lost to a Quincy, but your Shinigami powers are no more. That is pretty embarrassing Jirobo, but then again ~ he hella deserved it. He believed attacking the weaker of the two would give him an advantage, but it only ended in his defeat. Unlke Jidanbo who has heart and is loved and cared for, Jirobo got what was coming for him the moment he pulled a p*ssy move ~ as both a Shinigami and as a man, Jirobo is a coward. Uryu, in this scene of Bleach, is the epitome of badass.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Throwback. Look forward to Throwbacks every Friday. Until then, I'll see you all Tuesday. Stay classy now.

RBT #27 - The Undressing Dilemma

Orihime Inoue, what the f*ck are you doing huh!? You gotta be pretty ballsy in changing in front of a man and it's NOT Ichigo, how could you! This comedic moment in Bleach is pretty random considering Orihime isn't fully aware of her surroundings or the possible thoughts floating about in Uryu's head as he watches her undress (Don't think about it, Uryu!). There are some fans out there that believe Uryu & Orihime make a cute couple, but in my honest opinion ~ No! More power to you for liking the whole UryHime couple, but here on Memoirs of a Bleach Zealot ~ ICHIHIME ALL THE WAY BABY!!! Much like my whole thing with Ichiruki  (Ichigo & Rukia) or IchiSen (Ichigo & Senna) or IchiNel (Ichigo & Nel), you have the right to fantasize who the couple are, but only the author himself knows what's up. So in this week's RBT, it's pretty funny to see an interaction between Orihime & Uryu (even his glasses breaking just from briefly staring, lol). Orihime, if you recall, is pretty dense at times and when apologizing for doing something embarrassing in front of Uryu, Uryu was only questioning ~ What, Why, and How?

I hope you enjoyed this week's RBT. Look forward to RBTs every Thursday. As always, you all stay classy now.

WBCR - Help has arrived! (Grade B)

Well this week's chapter was relatively short. It can be summed up in 2 events ~ Ichigo gets tag-teamed and Renji, The Kuchiki(s), Hisagi, Ikkaku, & Yumichika arrive to fight Bazz-B, the TGPZ sisters, the unnamed Sternritter, NaNaNa, & Pepe. At the very start of our chapter, we see Yhwach's intentions was to invade the Soul King's palace and with Ichigo's new wardrobe, it can be possible. For 6000 seconds, the opening to the Soul King's palace is open, giving Yhwach an opportunity to have his wish fulfilled. Knowing this, the Sternritter attack. Meninas McAllon is the first to attack, then NaNaNa, the unnamed Sternritter, & Bazz-B with his trademark - Burner Finger. However, before Bazz-B can land his trademark attack, it was interrupted due to the efforts of the 8@D@$$e$ seen in the picture (Renji, Rukia, Byakuya, Hisagi, Ikkaku, & Yumichika). In the nick of time, Renji arrives (although Ichigo berates Renji for arriving too late). Ichigo's duty is to stop Yhwach and thwart his plans. As Ichigo pursues Yhwach, the Sternritter charge forward only to be stopped as now it's turned into a Shinigami-Sternritter Brawl. And that ends our chapter until next week. Overall, this chapter was short, sweet, simple, and showcases the anime cliche of backup showing up so that the main hero can go after the bigger threat. I was expecting a little bit more, but then again ~ it's a set up for the Brawl that is about to place. What I'm curious to know is whose going to fight whom. I give this week's chapter a B.

So what did you think of this week's chapter? Good? Bad? Eh? Comment below and let me know. As always, look forward to WBCRs every Wednesday (unless author is on hiatus or Golden week). Until then, you all stay classy now (Graded Meme below). Make your predictions here on who you think is going to fight whom, here's mine:

Renji vs. Bazz-B
Hisagi, Ikkaku, & Yumichika vs. TGPZ sisters
The Kuchiki(s) vs. NaNaNa, the unnamed Sternritter, & Pepe.

Affinity #42 - Quincy & Bount (Uryu & Yoshino)

Well Well Well, Uryu seems to be getting a little action in the picture seen. During the Bount Arc in Bleach, Uryu plays a much more pivotal role than Ichigo since the antagonists, the Bount, needed to use Uryu's abilities in order for their plan to invade the Soul Society to work. It doesn't change the fact that Ichigo fought the main Antagonist, Jin Kariya, but Uryu plays the main protagonist in this arc (in my opinion and making Ichigo the Deuteragonist). Yoshino, the Bount seen in the picture, was Kariya's wife and she saved Uryu ~ explaining the Bount's intentions as well as Jin's overall grand scheme. The Bounts aren't taken back by Yoshino's betrayal in aiding Uryu and, instead, attack her and eventually Yoshino herself is killed by her former lover, Jin. What I like about this Affinity is the lengths an enemy would go to save someone else ~ she isn't villainous or even downright corrupt. Yoshino seems to be a kind-hearted Bount that had lost her way and working alongside the Bounts wasn't getting anywhere. Maybe, Yoshino saw something in Uryu (hint: in picture) and maybe her destiny could possibly change for the better and you have to remember, Uryu (in my opinion) saw Yoshino as a maternal figure OR possible love interest. When Yoshino was killed, Uryu, deeply saddened by this loss, wanted revenge against Jin. Uryu's image of a maternal figure are not shattered because of Jin, but what it could've been if Yoshino survived. An affinity no less, but it's much more than that ~ a woman (Yoshino) who had lost her way and wanted a hero (Uryu) to change her fate and thwart the Bounts.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Affinity (Despite it being a filler arc, I dug this Affinity). Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. As always, you all stay classy now.

Throwback #44 - The Ultimate Troll (Gin Ichimaru)

Due to the severity of Rukia's crimes in Karakura Town (almost becoming human + giving her Shinigami powers to Ichigo), Rukia was sentenced to be executed at the top of Sokyoku Hill. However, there was an "attempt" of kindness on Gin's part as he asked Rukia if she wanted to be free. This not only shocked the men in robes as seen in the picture, but it gave Rukia a sliver of hope that she may not face death after all. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Troll trolls Rukia and broke Rukia's faith as Gin jokingly stated that he wasn't actually going to save Rukia from death. That sliver of hope vanished and as Rukia screams from her loss of faith & hope, Gin smiles. Gin's character from the get-go is scary and mysterious, but what's even frightening about him is his unpredictability. Rukia had always hated Gin, but in that moment of time ~ Gin became her knight-in-shining armor that turned out to be nothing more than a joke. Gin's playfulness in this situation stems from his twisted sense of humor as well as his inability to do a thing about it due to the consequences that may arise if he were to save Rukia + his "allegiance" to Aizen. Gin, as we see later on, isn't that bad of a guy, but his upbringing can attribute to why he asks so mysterious and nonchalant as well as "acting" on the part of siding with Aizen. However, Gin's true nature and intentions were never brought into light (with the exception of Rangiku) and he'll forever be known as that creepy, mysterious, and smiling Troller by everyone whose known him.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Throwback. Look forward to Throwbacks every Friday. Until then, I'll see you all Tuesday and you stay classy now!

RBT #26 - The Juicebox Conjunction

Remember this random moment in Bleach where Rukia tries to figure out how to drink a juice-box? So innocent! Being new to the human world, Rukia tries to fit-in, accustoming herself to mannerisms relating to the Human world so that she doesn't give away the fact that she really isn't human. Upon realizing she gave more than half of her powers to Ichigo, she was left powerless, defenseless, and unable to return to the Soul Society. What she might not know, however, is the severity of her crimes that'll undoubtedly result in consequences. In the meantime ~ Rukia has a constant battle of straw vs. Juice-box opening. Even when shown how to drink a juice-box, it's foreign to her. The face and reaction she makes is pretty hilarious because despite it's simplicity ~ Rukia could never get herself to understanding the Juice-Box: a drink so mysterious and divine that only A LOT have mastered the connection of straw + hole as well as learn the gravitas of consuming this delicious beverage.

I hope you enjoyed this week's RBT. Look forward to RBTs every Thursday. As always, you all stay classy now!

WBCR - 8 vs. 1 (Grade A)

Man, Ichigo's got a lot on his plate. First he has to fight the TGPZ sisters, and now ~ Bazz-B, Pepe, NaNaNa, & that one unnamed Sternritter. It's a battle royal ~ whoever beats the ultimate special war potential Ichigo Kurosaki gets everything (according to Liltotto). Candice, at this moment of time, is pissed ~ she was heavily wounded from Ichigo's attack, but Giselle managed to heal her. Ichigo forewarned her to move out of the way, but Candice's rage cannot be contained as she desperately wants to kick Ichigo's @$$. However, deception seems to be running about amongst the Sternritter when Bazz-B fired a Burner Finger at the TGPZ sisters, but it wasn't enough to stop them or thwart their plans for taking out Ichigo themselves. And if that wasn't enough, a grand plan is in the schemes as Yhwach, Jugram, & Uryu appear ~ A key and a bright light followed by Yhwach saying "To all those who guided us to the light" followed by (at end of chapter) "Let us be on our way, my sons - it is time to be one with me." My interpretation of is this ~ Yhwach is probably getting a higher source of power from a undisclosed source or gathering the power of all the Sternritter combined to become the ultimate evil (since remnants of his soul are scattered about). This leaves to one assumption (in my opinion) of what may happen: Ichigo is about to witness the birth of a new world made by Yhwach. Overall, I'm curious to know what that key & bright light are and how will Ichigo handle fighting 8 vs. 1. It's a good setup for what could possibly be the end for the Soul Society, but we have yet to see the following: The Arrancar(s) aiding in the Shinigami, the Fullbringers + Ganju who are assisting, Isshin & Karin's possible involvement in aiding in any way, & Aizen Sousuke's role as a special war potential. Things are looking up (Don't Troll us Tite Kubo) and I (hope) for the better because s#!t just got real and Ichigo, being the ultimate special war potential, has to prove that he is a different man than who he was before. How will the TGPZ sisters and the 4 Sternritter work on defeating Ichigo together (remember, Bazz-B did attack them intentionally)? How does Uryu feel about Yhwach's grand plan? Where is Kenpachi after defeating Gremmy? Will Tier Harribel or Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez have a pivotal role? So many questions, but I do believe that this war will provide the answers. I give this week's chapter an A.

So what did you think of this week's chapter? Good? Bad? Eh? Comment below and let us know. As always, look forward to WBCRs every Wednesday (unless Author is on break or Golden Week). Anyways, you all stay classy now! I'll be adding pictures of Candice + 1 picture of Giselle + Weekly Graded Meme:

Affinity #41 - Death & Slayer (Shinigami & Zanpaktou)

"With great power comes great responsibility" is a saying everyone knows very well (Thanks Uncle Ben!) and it is because of the tapped potential of power that any heroes in the fictional or nonfictional world can exceed their limits so long as they are responsible. In Bleach, it is no different when the Shinigami wield their Zanpaktou ~ it's a bond that fosters over time, but the same principle applies ~ Great Power & Responsibility. Teamwork is an important aspect between Shinigami & their Zanpaktou ~ a power so unrivaled that their very foundation is bound to it's significance and meaning. In the filler arc (as seen in the picture), we see the physical manifestations of the Zanpaktou come about as they are at ends with their owners (that and they're being controlled by Muramasa), the Shinigami. At the very end of the arc, it comes to show Zanpaktou want to be treated as people and they want their owners (Shinigami) to be responsible for their actions when wielding them. Lack of teamwork and sympathy only puts down the Zanpaktou and knowing there is room for improvement and fostering a friendship, the bond between Shinigami & Zanpaktou is better than ever. Examples are Hitsugaya + Hyorinmaru, Renji + Zabimaru, & Rangiku + Haineko. Their partnership is based off trust, respect, responsibility, and having an understanding that power itself is both a test of endurance (wielding it) and control (taking action). It could also be seen as a sibling-like relationship too (AKA ~ Hyorinmaru is a brother-figure to Hitsugaya Toshiro). or perhaps like a close friend (AKA ~ Rukia & Sode no Shirayuki).

I hope you enjoyed this week's Affinity. Look forward to Affinities every Tuesday. As always, you al stay classy now.

Throwback #43 - Entering the Lion's Den

One of the most notable throwbacks in Bleach is Ichigo, Uryu, & Chad's entering of Hueco Mundo in order to save their beloved friend ~ Orihime Inoue. Much like how Team Ichigo entered the Seiretei to save Rukia, they are treated as mere Ryoka and are a threat to the main antagonist & his underlings ~ Aizen Sousuke & the Espada. Relentlessly training, these 3 have poured all of their courage, strength, and patience in order to test their abilities against Espada, said to be the best of the best and their strength is either on par or surpasses Captain-level Shinigami. Ichigo managed to fight on par against the likes of Grimmjow & Ulquiorra whereas Uryu, alongside Renji & Mayuri, did away with Szayelaporro. And then there's Chad...who got his ass handed to him by Nnoitra after he just got out of defeating Privaron Espada, Gantenbainne. To be perfectly honest, I don't hate Chad ~ I find him to be a really laid-back character, loyal, and just a all around good guy. However, in terms of strength & abilities ~ it wasn't enough against a real Espada. Like I said previously, Chad, when it comes to team Ichigo, is the weakest and though his abilities are impressive, he isn't fully utilized in the storyline unlike Uryu or Orihime (who have had more appearances). So their arrival in Hueco Mundo is to be expected, but Aizen forewarns his Espada that they needn't worry about it....yet. Aizen sees them as a threat, but not enough to duck & cover. Aizen sees it as a game of chess ~ one move at a time. Knowing this, the 3 willingly put their lives on the line in order to rescue Orihime and, like most good guys, they eventually come out alive as they saved the day.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Throwback. Look forward to Throwbacks every Friday. Until then, you all stay classy and I'll see you all Tuesday for the weekly Affinity post (Monday's Fight Night posts are on hiatus until July).

RBT #25 - In...the...FACE

One of the most comedic (and somewhat recurring) RBTs in Bleach is whenever Kon gets kicked in the face by Rukia. Kon's excitement in seeing Rukia is so damn high that he expects the kick already and embraces it. Perhaps Kon is a Masochist, loving every moment that Rukia steps, kicks, or beats the living stuffing out of Kon. Rukia finds no joy nor happiness in Kon's shenanigans, but deep down ~ she cares for him (probably). And deep down, Kon is a perverted masochist that loves BEEWBS and getting kicked in the face by his #1 girl ~ Rukia Kuchiki.

I hope you enjoyed this week's relatively short RBT. RBTs every Thursday. As always, you all stay classy now.

WBCR - Getsuga....Juujishou (Grade B)

Moon Fang Cross Stab is the english translation of Ichigo's new attack (the spellings are different on Mangastream & Mangapanda)...Getsuga Juujishou. This attack pretty much is this ~ firing Getsuga Tensho infused together with his duel-wielding swords to form a large cross-shaped blast of energy. So in this week's chapter, the fighting commences as Ichigo easily faces off against the TGPZ sisters. Candice (Thunderbolt) is pretty pissed at this moment ~ wanting to do away with Ichigo despite him being the #1 special war potential. I find it quite comical that despite Candice's frustration, her comrades still have time to bicker about (much like Tier Harribel's fraccion). Litotto, Giselle, & Meninas are pretty tired of Ichigo's durability, but Candice won't let up as she releases her Vollstandig (Litotto, Giselle, & Meninas refuse to because it's tiresome/annoyance) in order to please her Majesty IF she were to defeat Ichigo right here and now. She charges forward to face Ichigo, but he mistakenly believes they're on par since Ichigo thinks they're both duel-wielding, but in actuality ~ Candice wields 6 blades (much like Nnoitra in his Resurreccion). Ichigo easily deals with every attack Candice throws, but Candice warns Ichigo not to get cocky just because he repelled her attacks. Candice is confident and shouts ELECTROCUTION (while also showing off her @$$ in a distance), but Ichigo wraps up this week's chapter by trying out his new attack (as said above). Overall, I like this chapter because Ichigo finally has a new attack (but that's not saying much since it's still Getsuga related) and I really REALLY liking Candice (she may come off as a b!tch, but I still love her) ~ her endurance just astonishes me (and Liltotto, Giselle, & Meninas are pretty funny). There's still room for improvement and I hope Tite Kubo delivers.

So what did you think of this week's chapter? Good? Bad? Eh? Comment below and let me know. As always, look forward to WBCR(s) every Wednesday (unless Author is taking break or Golden Week). Stay classy now Bleach fans! (Pictures of Candice & her @$$ are listed below w/Graded Meme).

Affinity #40 - The Shinigami's Ascension & The King's Descension (Aizen & Baraggan)

Upon Aizen's defection from the Soul Society alongside Gin & Tosen, one of the first things he had to do was to create an army. Since Aizen has made a pact with the Menos, it was only natural to get to know who he was affiliating himself with. As a result, 9 Espada and various Arrancar(s) were under his command, but it didn't initially start out with everyone getting on their hands and knees and saluting Aizen as the one divine being to rule them all. No, that part was reserved for Baraggan Louisebairn ~ the King of Hueco Mundo. As Aizen visited him during a trivial pursuit of Baraggan's relief of boredom ~ he took an interest in him right away, but was aware of his intentions. In introducing Aizen's plan to make Baraggan stronger in exchange he side with him, Baraggan was in disbelief and sentenced Aizen, Gin, & Tosen to die right before him.....only to have it backfired as Aizen already distorted Baraggan's senses into thinking that his army was alive. Now, it was only Baraggan and with no one else to turn to....he surrender and became subjugated by Aizen's rule. The hatred that Baraggan has for Aizen is so intense that in his dying moments ~ he wanted retribution for everything Aizen has done for him. A complicated relationsip, but Aizen merely used the King as his own puppet to become a greater being far surpassing that of Shinigami & Hollow. That is why this Affinity is interesting ~ all along I believed they sided with Aizen, but in actuality ~ it was a fluke, ploy, and gamble. Some sided because they feared Aizen's power and others out of having the belief that he truly is a God. For Baraggan, it was out of fear of dying and wanting to reclaim what is rightfully is....his throne, power, and ambitions.

I hope you enjoyed this week's Affinity. Affinities every Tuesday. As always, you all stay classy now.
