One Affinity that isn't really touched upon as much is the Kido Corps ~ Tessai & Hachigen. From the moment we met Kisuke Urahara, fans have speculated how Tessai is knowledgable in the supernatural. How can he see Ichigo as a Shinigami? Well, it turns out that Tessai was indeed part of the Kido Corps in the Soul Society. With Hachigen, fans were speculating as well what division he was originally from. People already knew that the Visored were former members of the Shinigami, but no one predicted that such a thing titled the Kido Corps would exist. It turns out it does and the one thing that I'm disappointed in is that there's very little interaction between Tessai & Hachigen. You see them together and then Captain Yamamoto (at the time) tasked Hachigen to exist with the "experiments." Later, when we see the Visored aid the Gotei 13, Hachigen was curious to know where Tessai went; this may hint that he holds him to such high regard for his skill in Kido + possible friendship. It's ironic the out of the Visored ~ Shinji, Lisa, & Hachigen were the only ones who wanted to see someone. Though we'll never know, the Kido Corps were two powerful individuals who are left in the dark. They are badasses in their own right, but I just wished we'd see more of them. All I can go off of is that they probably were good friends, masterful in Kido, and both held each other in high regard.
