SGABR #5 (Bleach vs. Fairy Tail) - Bisca (Mulan) Connell vs. Sui-Feng

Welcome back to another installment of SGABR (Sexy Girls of Anime Battle Royale) where MIKandIK3 and myself, Stillmattic, pit the girls of Bleach & Fairy Tail together and give our thoughts on which of these lovely ladies has a more intriguing storyline, interesting personality, and overall attraction/appeal as a woman. So far in the last 4 weeks, Fairy Tail leads 4-0 against Bleach w/MIKandIK3 & I interchanging in giving verdicts. We are on Week 5 (04/03) of SGABR (Bleach vs. Fairy Tail Edition). Can Bleach make a possible comeback against the many women of Fairy Tail or will Fairy Tail keep the lead? Who knows? Only MIKandIK3 & I know. For today's post, we are pitting Fairy Tail's Bisca Connell and Bleach's Sui-Feng. The verdict will be decided by MIKandIK3. And here's MIKandIK3 with a few starting words.

Welcome all! It’s the end of the week so you know what that means! Another round of SGABR! And after four weeks, Fairy Tail has a 4-0 lead over Bleach! Lets find out if this week will be their week. As Fairy Tail’s sharp shooting cowgirl Bisca goes against Bleach’s hard ass 2^nd division commander Sui-Feng. Both ladies are locked and loaded so let’s not keep them waiting and get the show on the road!

Story (Bisca)

While not exactly a main character in the series, Bisca is one of the few characters that we see her past and how she became a member of Fairy Tail. Bisca traveled to Fiore from the west alone. To support herself she used her gunslinger magic to steal, cheat and threaten who ever she could. She became an outlaw nicknamed Mulan Rouge. She preyed upon a small desert town and pronounced herself a member of Fairy Tail to protect herself with. This of course caught wind of by non-other than Erza Scarlet, who happened to be traveling by the isolated town. Erza, with her knights honor, was enraged that someone would put shame the Fairy Tail name and confronted Bisca. Despite her efforts to escape, she was beaten by the fairy knight and pleaded for forgiveness. Though she did receive one more beating, Erza then extended her the offer to officially join Fairy Tail to earn her wealth honorably. Bisca in awed by Erza’a coolness joined the guild and found a good partner Alzack, who the two share the same type of gunslinger magic. Though she lost her evil ways and gained new friends, her relevance in the story ends there. She lends a big hand in the war with Phantom, both battles, and is showing some fan service in the battle royal arc.  Afterwards the only scenes we see her in is before and the end of the Edolas arc, where she and Alzack show signs of both holding a cruse for one another(Happy the cat says: they llliiiiiikkeee each other~) .But it isn’t till after the Tenrou Island arc that hint turns into much much more as we see Bisca and Alzack have tied the knot and even got busy, having a daughter named Asuka.

Story (Sui-Feng)

Sui-Feng is born into the Feng house, a lower class noble family that is affiliated with the Shihoin household. She, at a tender young age, is sworn to protect Yoruichi Shihoin, Captain of the 2nd division & Stealth forces. Her admiration for Yoruichi is unrivaled and it wouldn't be long before she disappeared alongside Kisuke Urahara, Tessai, & the Visored (Captains/Lieutenants of the 5th, 7th, 8th, & 9th divisions). Sui-Feng was unaware of why her mentor had abandoned her, but felt betrayed and a deep hatred resurfaced from Sui-Feng's heart. She devoted her life to becoming stronger than Yoruichi and hopes to end her because of the betrayal and wound she had left on Sui-Feng at a young age. It wouldn't be until later where she became the 2nd Division Captain and was in charge of the Stealth forces - the little girl who served under the 2nd Division now has become the Captain. Later on, Sui-Feng & Yoruichi would reunite and she would uncover the truth - her admiration and love for Yoruichi was simply too strong for Sui-Feng to overcome. Eventually, Sui-Feng took part in aiding Yoruichi in fighting off the Arrancars led by Aizen Sousuke (where Sui-Feng herself was able to handle Baraggan w/Hachigen, but not Aizen). Her siding with Yoruichi is partly due to Yoruichi's friendship to our main hero, Ichigo Kurosaki. She is currently participating in the war between the Shinigami & the Wandenreich led by Yhwach. 

Personality (Bisca)

While she may have had moral issues in the past before her time in Fairy Tail, Bisca has completely changed into someone who cares for those around her as her own family. Busca is a determined girl who loves Fairy Tail and is willing to fight for the good of her comrades in the guild. She demonstrates a headstrong personality when facing most of her fellow guild mates, following Erza’s lead on the counter attack on Phantom and attacking the lightning lacrama that threatened the city of Magnolia during the Battle Royal. However, this headstrong personality of hers completely disappears when it comes to dealing with her partner Alzack proving to be shy and modest when dealing with him.

Personality (Sui-Feng)

Strong-willed, determined, intimidating, fast, agile, & robust ~ these are the words that best describe Sui-Feng. Since Yoruichi, her former Captain, abandoned her long ago, Sui-Feng has developed an ego against her former Captain; insisting that she's surpassed her mentor in terms of strength & leadership. However, at the end of the day Sui-feng genuinely was hurt when Yoruichi left without saying a word and, like a little girl, cried over her return. Sui-Feng makes up for it by obliging to the duties as the 2nd Division Captain ~ acting swiftly, without hesitation, & mercilessly. 

Attraction/Appeal (Bisca)

Now I am an old west lover, so when I hear Bisca’s story of outlaw turned good guys I’m all for it. And of course like most Fairy Tail girls she has the nice ass, waist and chest to match. She isn’t much for flaunting what she’s got, but is often seen wearing her skinpy bikini top and small vest combo often. And even the outfits she has do well to fit the curves of her body. Along with her cowgirl attire, make her and the poncho wearing Alzack a good match. In fact these two are the only Fairy Tail couple to of actually made advanced progress in their relationship! Granted they didn’t lose 7 years on Tenrou Island, but still they even have a kid! All that’s left to say is hang on and ride’em cowgirl!

Attraction/Appeal (Sui-Feng)

When I first saw Sui-feng, I didn't think much of her. I thought she was just an ok character & nothing less. However, over time she did grow on me surprisingly because despite her tough exterior, she was just as normal as everyone else. Sui-Feng loves and admires her former Captain and that's what stun me about her ~ a Captain eliciting emotions other than ego & arrogance. To me, Sui-Feng got cuter after the Time-skip and, like most Bleach women, are well-drawn.

And the winner is…

Ugh… this was so far the hardest verdict EVER! Now why did I chose Sui-Feng over Bisca? Well……it was by very very Very narrow margins. Story wise Bisca gets a solo chapter about her life before joining Fairy Tail, but other than that she’s a back ground character. Even though she is one of the few that stay after the 7 year disappearance of the main group, she still has progressed little. While Sui-Feng becomes more and more important as time went on and became an important role in the invasion. When it came to personality we don’t know that much of Bisca after she changed her ways and became a member of Fairy Tail as she doesn’t speak her mind unless it’s about the situation at hand ….or Alzack. Sui-Feng has always had that strict, hard headed commander type, but her motives were to help build character in her underling (so the story claims). However, we do witness her softy side for instance her fondness of black cats. Then the choice came down to the hardest question I had to ask, which I think is sexier. While Bisca clearly has Sui-Feng out gunned in the chest area, I have always thought of Sui-Feng’s outfit attractive. Not to say I don’t love my green haired cowgirl’s looks, she’s definitely got the Fairy charms. But other than the Miss Fairy Tail beauty contest she never really gets to show her stuff, and before you know it she’s hitched to Alzack! I found Sui-Feng to show her cute side a many occasions, the best being when she faces her former commander Yoruichi. Re-reading and remembering the battle between the two along with their relationship was what really made her stand out to me. That she felt betrayed but really only missed her former master after leaving her. Bisca honey, you will still be the wild cowgirl we all know even if you are a married woman now. Congrats to Sui-Feng giving Bleach their first win! Hope you all have a safe weekend and see you back this time next week for round 6!
