Candice "Thunderbolt" Catnipp. Liltotto "Glutton" Lamperd. Meninas "Power" Mcallon. Giselle "Zombie" Gewelle. I'm officially fallen in love with this chapter because of these women. Not only do their powers interest me, but they did a number on the 11th division. And just as they were having the upper hand, an explosion shocks the skies behind them - who could it be? What could it be? We'll have to tune in next chapter to see what could've caused such an abrupt explosion and we'll get a glimpse of who'll reappear against these 4 beauties. As the chapter starts, Candy delivers a devastating blow to members of the 11th division, but Giselle comments that it wasn't enough to completely obliterate everyone. Angered by this, Candy resumes her rampage only for Kenpachi to lunge towards her out of anger. However, before Kenpachi could react ~ Meninas reappears from behind and punches the heavily tired Kenpachi. Even after fought against Gremmy, Candy comments that Kenpachi's a freakin' monster of nature. Just as the remaining 11th division were about to aid their Captain, Liltotto shows up and "devours" their heads. Her mouth stretched and snatched the heafs of the Shinigami ~ it wasn't enough to fulfill her appetite. Just as Kenpachi was about to get back up, Candy shocks him again ~ leaving him heavily tired AND wounded from Candy & Meninas' attacks. Just as some (not all) of the 11th division members rushed in to aid their Captain once more, a towering pillar thrown by Meninas is thrown at them ~ crushing them beneath the rubble. And just as it seemed like the 11th division was over ~ there's Giselle. The remaining survivors of the 11th division surrounded her in attempts to corner her before they get cornered themselves. As they struck down Giselle, her blood sprayed all over the faces of the Shinigami ~ could this signify a victory perhaps? Nope, Giselle is alive and well and explains that anything her blood touches becomes under her control. She orders everyone (that her blood got on) to commit Seppuku and so, the Shinigami of the 11th division, once again fall. Does this signify the end of the 11th division as we know it? The heavily tired and wounded Kenpachi can't get up as the 4 sisters look down on him. However, just as they were about to deliver the final blow to the Demon, the sky shakes and an explosion erupts behind them ~ just who could it be at this time of need? Friend or Enemy? Shinigami? Arrancar? Fullbringers? I seriously need to know. Overall I love this chapter because of these 4 lovely ladies ~ I love their power (appearances aren't everything) and it just astonishes me that they did a number on Kenpachi despite him being the all-time best of the best (alongside Ichigo). This week's Chapter is a Grade A for me. Bravo Tite Kubo...Bravo for introducing these 4 because I was curious to know what they're capable of and you've delivered.
