Despite having no pivotal interaction in Bleach, two of my favorite Captains in the Gotei 13 are Captain Byakuya Kuchiki of the 6th Division & Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya of the 10th Division. Of the Gotei 13, Byakuya, Toshiro, Sui-Feng, Komamura, Gin & Kaname (previously) were the youngest captains (Unohana, Kyoraku, Ukitake, & Mayuri are the oldest). Out of youngest captains, I believe 2 of them are prodigies ~ Byakuya & Toshiro. Well-versed in combat, agility, and Zanpaktou utilization ~ these two are versatile as Captain-class Shinigami proudly leading by example ~ with unwavering loyalty to their peers as well as having a idea of justice & ethics. As seen in the picture, these two young Captains are fighting in the filler arc (though one of them is a clone), but it's unique to see the two fight against another ~ whose more perceptive in combat, whose Zanpaktou is stronger, and whose skills, abilities, & attributes define them better? I see these two as badasses (not excluding the other Captains) not because of their abilities and sense of right & wrong, but they're willingness to never give into defeat and to be an exemplary example as Captains of the Gotei 13.
