VS.
Mileena & Bambietta, two fine-@$$ women that are sadistic in their nature, cold-blooded in their hearts, and merciless in their minds. What else can be said about them ~ hot, sexy, and LOVE seeing their opponents being humiliated or tortured in the most gruesome way. Both have a nasty personality and love every minute of it ~ a guy's dream come true right? Seizing power by any means necessary, these two bloodthirsty women will battle it out ~ Whose more gruesome? Whose more nasty? Whose more ferocious? And most of all ~ Who is more sadistic? This week's battle in MK's gorgeous Mileena and Bleach's Bambietta Basterbine. The following will be compared: Backstory/Role, Powers/Abilities, & Verdict (By Stillmattic). As of July 14th, 2014 ~ Bleach leads 3-2 against MK. Mileena's parts are written by MechG & Bambietta's parts are written by Stillmattic.
Backstory/Role in Story (Bambietta)
Bambietta is first introduced when Yhwach, the Father of the Quincy, orders the fellow Sternritter to pretty much start a war with the Gotei 13 and leave no one alive. It is revealed that Quincy's are able to steal Bankai(s) and Bambietta, being one of the first Sternritter seen, steals Komamura's Bankai. She goes on an onslaught against various Shinigami, bur was forced to retreat on orders from Yhwach upon the arrival of special war potential, Ichigo Kurosaki. Following their retreat, Yhwach appoints Uryu as his successor much to everyone's surprise. Bambietta, displeased with this news, asks a fellow Wandenreich soldier to accompany her to her room only to kill him as a means of pleasure, boredom, and self-gratification. Bambietta is worried that with Uryu around, the state of the Quincy may be in jeopardy. Bambietta reappears once again during the 2nd invasion and is immediately attacked by both Komamura and Shinji. Bambietta finally shows off the "E" of her abilities and does critical damage to both Captains only for Komamura to turn temporarily human and thwart her from doing any more considerable damage. She is one of the first Sternritters beaten, but upon the arrival of the TGPZ sisters (despite Giselle recently unveiled to be a horny guy) ~ Bambietta herself was killed by Giselle and was turned into a zombie ~ unable to die or feel pain despite being impaled through the face & getting her arm cut off. Despite Bambietta being zombified, her abilities are still intact as she pretty much explodes everything around her ~ doing considerable damage to Ikkaku & Yumichika.
Backstory/Role in Story (Mileena)
When Shao Kahn
conquered the realm of Edenia, he killed the incumbent king, Jerrod and took
his wife Sindel and his young daughter Kitana as his own. Fearing that Kitana
would soon learn the truth about her past, Kahn ordered Shang Tsung to create a
clone of the young Edenian princess, a more evil, sadistic version of Kitana.
Using the essence of an Edenian then infusing it with that of a Tarkatan,
Mileena was born from Shang Tsung’s creation. Originally used as means to
replace Kitana, Mileena’s Tarkatan mouth defect derailed her original
derivative and instead she was used to watch over Kitana and her suspicious
ploy to overthrow Kahn.
In MKII,
Kitana’s rebellion came to be when she coincided with the Earthrealm fighters.
Hearing of this, Mileena attempted to viciously attack her beautiful twin
sister, but Kitana bested her and killed her, sending her soul into the
Netherrealm. During her stay at the Netherrealm, Mileena was hellbent on
exacting revenge on Kitana. She joined forces with the ruler of the
Netherrealm, the Fallen Elder God Shinnok and was sent back to Earthrealm to
survey Shao Kahn’s invasion. She also was given the ability to channel Kitana’s
thoughts. Mileena would finally exact her revenge as Shinnok and his Netherrealm
forces invaded Edenia, but after Shinnok’s defeat, Kitana bested her again and
was locked away as a prisoner. In Deception,
Mileena remained imprisoned for a long time until the Dragon King, Onaga
attacked Edenia. There, Mileena was freed by full-bred Tarkatan warrior, Baraka
and was ordered to pose as Kitana as a ploy for the Edenian army to join Onaga.
At the same time though, Mileena wanted to control the Edenian army to satisfy
herself. During Armageddon, the
Edenian army was under Mileena’s full command and they invaded Outworld to
siege Shao Kahn’s fortress. The campaign failed with a counterattack by Kahn’s
army and Mileena surrendered and return to Kahn’s side. Shao Kahn tasked
Mileena to bring in Shujinko as bait to gain Onaga as an ally, which she
successfully did. Thereafter, she broke off serving Shao Kahn; tired of being a
minion, she had her sight sets on ruling Edenia for herself. She was last seen
trying to prevent Shang Tsung from going to the top of the Pyramid of Argus
during the all-out war before the sorcerer knocked her off to her demise
Powers/Abilities (Bambietta)
Much like any other Quincy, Bambietta possesses several Quincy abilities ~ Reishi manipulation, has immense spiritual power rivaling that of Captain-class Shinigami, wields a spirit weapon, and has a Quincy Vollstandig (pretty much Quincy's version of Bankai). However, her main power derives from her letter Bambietta "E ~ The Explode" Basterbine. She has the ability to turn anything her reishi touches into bombs. This ability of hers is un-blockable, but the downside is that it could be deflected if timed perfectly. She could also generate enough explosive energy around her to cause heavy damage to her surroundings. During her Vollstandig release, her abilities are amplified and she is able to take flight as well. One amplified explosion in her Vollstandig form was enough to critically injure Captain Shinji Hirako. She's quite "Explosive" to be around and if you aren't careful, she'll get "ticked" off and "Boom" on out of there.
Powers/Abilities (Mileena)
Mileena is a classic “looks
can be deceiving” female character. She may be beautiful with her veil on, but
without the veil, she’s a woman with a grotesque Tarkatan mouth looking to kill
to satisfy her own pleasure. Possessing the genes of a half Edenian and a half
Tarkatan, Mileena is considered one of the deadliest fighters in Mortal Kombat. It is said she could
match wits with the brute strength of the Shokans, while displaying incredible
agility, acrobatic prowess, and superhuman-like speed and considering she’s
Kitana’s clone, she has equal strength to her even though the storyline says
otherwise. In MK9, instead of
possessing knowledge of martial arts fighting styles like her original timeline
incarnation, she prefers to fight in a more barbaric way, displaying her full
on beauty and beast-like characteristics. Aside from that, she also has the
ability to teleport, roll, and use her Tarkatan teeth to bite her opponent in
pieces. Mileena’s weapon of choice is two Sais and she demonstrates excellent
proficiency with the weapons. While unleashing her abilities, she channels in a
purple-ish aura of energy. Her notable fatalities mostly emphasize on utilizing
her Tarkatan mouth such as the Man Eater (II),
where she inhales her opponent and throws out his/her bones to the opposite
side of her, the Nail Shooter (3),
filling her mouth with a barrage a nails and shooting the nails at her
opponent, and the Ferocious Bite (Deception)
where she bites into her opponent’s neck area, and forcefully removing the head
out of the body then spitting it out.
Verdict (By Stillmattic)
And the winner is...
In all honesty, Mileena was pretty damn close to taking the cake. Her backstory/role is more fleshed out, her abilities are top-notched when it comes to martial arts, utilizing her weapons, and having both acrobatic and agile capabilities ~ but I had to think logically on who'd win in a fight between these two ~ A "looks to be deceiving" woman who fights like a barbarian using her twin Sai or A woman who could pretty much explode anything and everything around her so long as her reishi (or presence) is floating about in the air. Emitting energy from both these two, I think Bambietta could easily generate a large explosive shockwave that could take out the beautiful, but deadly Mileena. Being Kitana's evil twin, I will say that Mileena's character is more utilized in the MK storyline than Bambietta is in Bleach, but even in death and as a zombie ~ Bambietta is still kicking @$$ and taking names with her explosive abilities. Just Ikkaku & Yumichika being near was able to set-off a explosive shockwave that knocked them to the ground. Despite Mileena's impressive acrobatic and agile capabilities, I don't think she could escape, perhaps...a walking time bomb that can generate explosions whenever and however she sees fit. If Mileena was anywhere near Bambietta to say take a nibble at her or perform a fatality, all it would take is Bambietta creating a explosion from her energy for Mileena to be defeated. So this victory may spark controversy and debate, but in this honest man's opinion ~BAMBIETTA WINS!
