Throwback #67 ~ Are you going to shoot me, Riruka?

Welcome back to another Throwback post and I do apologize for not having posted one last week ~ I had to work Black Friday (which was a hellish experience I'll never forget). I'd like to take the time and thank MechG for covering for me on the BCC Matchup that day (my parts were written prior to the post). However, I'm back, refreshed, and ready to get back into it.

Xcution was formed by Ginjo Kugo and consisted of members Tsukishima, Riruka, Jackie, Giriko, & Yukio. They all had similar backstories surrounding the hollow attacks & gaining of mysterious powers, but their ideals were far from similar. The reason why Tsukishima grieved over the death of Ginjo was because Ginjo was once a Shinigami and he saved/took in Tsukishima when he was a kid. The Xcution alone weren't enough of a challenge against the Gotei 13's best, but things took a turn for the worst for the Xcution when Riruka pointed her weapon at her own friend/comrade ~ Tsukishima. This betrayal is a sign of how much they've lost and risking one's life would be pointless now. Riruka knows that it's their loss, but Tsukishima's grieve cannot be contained. He tried summoning all his strength to stop Ichigo, but Riruka intervened and it only led him to go berserk over his actions. What does a man do when he's lost everything? He cannot remain sane and thus his grieving is the more reason why he had nothing left to lose. Even when Riruka points her gun at Tsukishima, you can see that their friendship could've meant something. But alas, Ginjo's death shook Tsukishima to the core and Riruka valued her life too much to just let it all go to waste. She'd rather surrender/accept death than continue. Tsukishima may be cunning and have two steps ahead, but no one can foresee the death of a friend/mentor.
