BCC 2 Match #6 ~ Mai Shiranui vs. Leone (Fatal Fury vs. Akame Ga Kill)

Welcome back to another Installment of BCC 2 Match 6 w/collaboration from MechG. Today's Matchup is pitting the feisty big-BEEWBED women from the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters & Akamae Ga Kill. Now I'll be forreal with ya'll, I haven't watched Akame Ga Kill nor do I have the time to do so because of finals approaching. However, MechG is a huge HUGE fan of Akame Ga Kill and I may try to find the time to watch it during the Holiday season + it's nice to go outside my comfort zone and check out new Anime chicks I've never heard before. Now for Mai, I'm quite fond of her because I often chose her in King of Fighters or Capcom vs. SNK (Which I won proudly against MechG multiple times with my BOSS status). Mai is the sex mascot for SNK and it's no wonder too ~ just look at what she's wearing & both her weapons are lethal against men. Leone, though I know not much about her other than her Wiki page, is quite a looker ~ and a blonde one at that too. Take in account that Story, Personality, & Appeal are deciding factors in the verdict. Without further ado, let's jam! 

Story (Mai)

Flip a coin. Do you guys want the Fatal Fury version or the KoF version of Mai’s story? Oh, forget it why not both? So Mai’s Fatal Fury story is quite straightforward. She is the granddaughter of ninjitsu and Koppo-ken master, Hanzo Shiranui, but she has a little background in the art of ninjitsu beforehand since her father taught her about it. Then, some guy named Andy Bogard arrived to train under Hanzo and Mai had to take train with her grandpa’s friend, Jubei Yamada in ninjitsu. During Mai’s first perception of Andy, she didn’t grew fond of him, thinking that he’s just another man who cares about his training above all else. However one day, during her birthday, Andy gave Mai a present changing her perceptions about him and eventually falling in love with him. For the rest of the series, she endlessly pursues Andy as he journeys with his brother Terry and friend, Joe Higashi and she fantasizes about Andy being her knight in shining armor, marrying him and having kids with him. In Mai’s story in KoF, she constantly tries to convince Andy to form a team with her, but Andy refuses. Going in an act of supposed feminism, Mai decided to form an all-women team consisting of Yuri and King (though that team would constantly change KOF tournament after KOF tournament) to prove Andy wrong. Finally after three KOF tournaments, Andy takes her in with his team, but was asked to be dismissed to allow Blue Mary to join and investigate a case. That pretty much pissed her off again and rejoins the Women’s team, becoming a permanent member. It wasn’t until KoF XIII where she’s not so mad at Andy anymore now that she’s formed her own team because she sees a KOF tournament isn’t well a KOF tournament without her and it’s special when both her and Andy are in the same tournament.

Story (Leone)

I'll do my best on describing what little I know about Leone. Leone's upbringing took place in the slums and she had a job a massage parlor. After having saved some kids from the higher ups, she was recruited by the Revolutionary Army. She's first to have joined the Night Raid to properly be acquainted with Tatsumi, the male protagonist. She, at first, took advantage of Tatsumi's naivety, but later comes to accept him as a member of the Night Raid. She, alongside Tatsumi & the Night Raid, help out people by fighting against the oppressed. The corrupt can longer stand on top the world and that's where the Night Raid comes in, they are warriors of peace that'll do anything to defend what's right and just. 

Personality (Mai)

Mai is a descendant of the legendary Shiranui clan and she takes pride in that. Personality-wise, she is cheerful, but she can be a hot head at times when she gets upset, even at the little things. Even though she is quite beautiful and attractive, Mai is not the one to throw a hissy fit of jealousy as she admires any other beauty and attractiveness. She also likes to compare guys who flirt with her to her boyfriend Andy. Though she likes their attractiveness, she thinks they’re “not as cute as him.” Mai is one of those girls who fantasize a lot about marrying her Prince Charming and since she found that in Andy, Andy can get creeped out from her weird fantasy she’s living in and her endless obsession with him. She can be quite the prankster too as she damn near gave Andy a Fatal (Fury) heart attack by showing him a fake baby doll, thinking that they had a child.

Personality (Leone)

Leone isn't what you'd call ladylike at all. She's upbeat, laidback, and often is seen as relaxed. Her mannerisms include showinv Tatsumi into her breasts, putting her feet on the table, and is a heavy sake drinker. She serves as the Onee-San" of the group and despite what her demeanor, she cannot stand injustice and will do anything in her power to see that justice will be served. And it's also shown that she gets a kick out of kicking @SS. 

Appeal (Mai)

Mai, Mai, Mai oh Mai. Man I could pull these puns all day. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh “Mai” Gosh. Ok enough of the puns. Man, is there a better hot girl to pull off a hot female ninja who knows ninjitsu than Mai (although Capcom’s Maki is arguable)? Though SNK did design a lot of girls that were also hot, no SNK female, nobody and I mean NOBODY could touch the definition of hotness and sex appeal that Mai possessed, it’s not even close. I mean, look at them legs, those BEEWBIEZ that bounce while she is on her stance or doing her victory pose, even by 2D and 16-bit standards, the revealing ninja outfit. Goddammit Andy is such lucky f*cking bastard aside from being creeped out by her stalker personality part. I’d do anything to get “Mai” hands on Mai’s BEEWBZ.

Appeal (Leone)

Though I haven't gotten around to watching/reading Akame Ga Kill, I can safely say that Leone is f*cking hot as sh!t. DAYUM gurl, she so fine she blow my mind. BOOM and my mind landed in her breasts. Not only is she a looker, but she loves shoving the main character into her breasts. Why can't that happen in reality? Why can't a hot chick who you've just met shove your face into her BEEWBZ? I thought this was 'Murica, but no ~ we don't got that. BOOO! Anywho, Leone's personality may be unladylike, but hey ~ all chicks, girly or tomboyish, have a special place in my heart. Leone's smile is also a delight to see too. A 8@d@$$ chick w/unladylike manners that loves kicking @$$ ~ you can't go wrong.

Verdict (By Stillmattic)

And the winner is...

This may seem unfair to Akame Ga Kill fans, but I was intended from the start to giving the victory to Mai. Why? Well, you have to remember that Fatal Fury/King of Fighters is a respected fighting game franchise and that each franchise has their mascot. Mai is the female mascot and it's her gravitas in the games that gives her so much more to talk about in comparison to Leone. Though I admit Leone's relevance to Akame Ga Kill is noteworthy, it's not on par with Mai. I also find Mai to be more appealing to the eye than Leone, but I love them both. It's just that if you told me to choose one on a matter of life & death ~Mai all the way. Her twin fans, big BEEWBS, and that being she's a descendant of the Shiranui Clan ~ Mai kicks a lot of @SS while knocking men senseless with her good lucks. Andy is hella luck that a girl like Mai has a thing for him. I'd do anything for her fans to flow in my direction, ya know what I mean? Leone is a looker, but like I said previously ~ her gravitas isn't remotely in the same boat as Mai and I have yet to invest my time into watching/reading Akame Ga Kill. So I do apologize once again AKG fans, but this victory clearly goes to wonderfully talented and sexual appealing winner ~ Mai Shiranui.
