DAYUM! Look at these two fine @$$ women. BEEWBIEZ yah yah yah! WHOOOOOO! Anywho, welcome back to another installment of BCC 2 where MechG & I pit the world of Videogames & Anime. So far, it's a tie 2-2 for the Videogame Babes & Anime Cuties, but anything can happen (Yeah, I'm talking to ya MechG). Today's Match is between a Succubus and a Human. Both these are the sexual mascots of their respective series. You can make the argument that the Succubus is sexier, but hey ~ humans are also sexy creatures too so don't underestimate the human race. So without further ado, let's get this show on the road. Take into account that Story, Personality, & Appeal all play a role in BCC Month. Let's jam!
Story (Morrigan)
A succubus born in the region of
Scotland in 1678, Morrigan was tasked by her adopted father and supposed head
of the Aensland family, Belial to keep sake the future of the Aensland family
in her hands. Reason is that Belial foresaw the demise of Makai and foresaw
that a member of the Aensland family would have the power to bring balance, but
not for another 1,200 years. Morrigan possessed special abilities as a
Succubus; perhaps she possessed such potential out of all the Darkstalkers
considering she was born as an S Class noble (I take it that’s probably
high-tier). However, at the time when Morrigan was still a Succubus child,
during a power struggle for Makai, it was forbidden for a Succubus child to be
given the rights of power, and to make matters worse, Morrigan had no idea how to
control her potential powers that were held within her and if she were to be
left alone, she would kill herself and destroy the land around her. As a fix,
Belial split Morrigan’s soul into three to protect her without her knowing. One
portion of her soul was kept inside Belial, another portion inside Morrigan,
and the third portion in sealed space, which eventually created Lilith. Morrigan
spent the majority of her life in the Aensland castle, but found life there to
be extremely boring. So she set out to the human world many times to find some
enjoyment. She would make a significant visit back once she sensed the alien
elemental Pyron’s power. Coming back from the human world, she found out Belial
died and she was the next in line to the throne of the Aensland family,
automatically making her the rightful ruler of Makai. However, she insists on
continuing her life like before, which was dull and boring until she was
dragged in by Jedah into his dimension. There she sensed her third half, Lilith
and after meeting her, Morrigan was able to regain her true self as her souls
reunited into one.
Story (Faye)
During her childhood, Faye was an upbeat, innocent, and eccentric individual who liked recording her day-to-day life. However, after her cryogenic sleep for 54 years due to an injury in a Space Shuttle accident in 2014 ~ she was heavily in debt, was targeted as a bounty, and had amnesia. In her situation, she had no choice but resort to stealing, using her sexual appeal to get out of situations, and gambling her life in exchange for bounties. It wouldn't be long before the Bebop crew is acquainted with Faye and they'd go on bounties in order to survive together as a family. She can finally say she has a place to call home as she took a quick liking to Spike, Jet, Ed & Ein. However, it also was suggested that when she awoke, she became acquainted with a gentlemen who turned out to be a con man that pretended to die and left her with his debt (later caught him and got the reward). Throughout the entire series, Faye and the other members of Bebop are just collecting bounties and bickering amongst who gets what, what is there to eat, and how to go about distributing amongst everyone. Near the end of the series, it is heavily implies Faye genuinely cares for Spike's wellbeing as he bid farewell to the Bebop in order to stop Vicious.
Personality (Morrigan)
Being the iconic succubus in the Darkstalkers series and one of Capcom’s
hot babes, Morrigan can be called anything from beautiful to sexy to confident
to playful. In actual folklore, the succubus is depicted as something to be
frightened about as they like to seduce men and take their life force (I got
that from watching Sleepy Hollow ok?).
However, this is not the case for Morrigan. Despite her seductive-like
appearance as a succubus and her attractive beauty and sexiness, she’s not all
that evil like the other demons dwelling in the demonic world of Makai.
Surprisingly, she is friendly and approachable and constantly doing about her
own business to satisfy her consumption while neglecting her duty as a member
of the Aensland family.
Personality (Faye)
Faye isn't what you'd an angelic character. She uses her sexual appeal (lust) to get what she wants. She's a "woman with attitude" as Spike puts it and isn't afraid to kick @$$ in order to get what she wants. When it comes to $$$ and Bounties ~ she always tries to get a head start as she glorifies wanting to be richer as a means of survival. It's because of this that she's often seen as cocky & overconfident to both her fellow comrades and her enemies. However, it also shows that she has a soft-spoken side to her as seen whenever conversing with Spike in the final episode of the series (hinting she may have a thing for Spike).
Appeal (Morrigan)
Capcom sure knows how to design their
female fighters at the hottest level. No question, Morrigan and Felicia are the
hotties of the ever underrated Darkstalkers
series. The actual time where I first found out about Morrigan was playing
the first Marvel vs. Capcom on the
old MAME emulator. And I’ve never seen such a sexy Capcom female fighting game
character that could give Chun-Li and Cammy a run for their $$$$$. I mean, her
design just speaks for itself: hot, sexy, seductive, pretty (look up MvC 3 intro), you can’t define Morrigan
any better than that. She got nice curves too. I would do anything for her to
seduce me if you ask me, even if it means having my life force drained.
Appeal (Faye)
From the time I started Cowboy Bebop, I fell in love with Faye. I mean, have you seen her skimpy outfit that she wears? That's one fine @$$ chick and it doesn't help that many others in the show find her attractive/jaw-droppingly hot. Sure, her personality is hit & miss, but that doesn't change the fact that I was glued to her character since I got invested in her story, relationships, & most of all ~ attire. You pretty much just have to unbutton her shirt and BOOM ~ her BEEWBZ are exposed. I will be sincerely honest on this statement: Faye Valentine is, in my opinion, the hottest nostalgic Anime chick that I've ever seen. For a 77 year old (Technically seen as24, but she was cryogenic asleep for 54 years), I'd tap that.
Verdict (By Stillmattic)
And the winner is...
I gotta say, Morrigan's design and character are fine-tuned in comparison to Faye Valentine. As much as I love Faye, Morrigan's character has more appeal (You gotta love that outfit of hers), she has a better personality, and her story is more developed than Faye's. Faye's cryogenic sleep turned Bounty hunting speaks enough for itself, but with Morrigan ~ her story expands around her being of the Aensland family; the mantle of responsibility she's supposedly has to take up is neglected since she doesn't give a sh*t. With Faye, she definitely has sexual appeal, but just look at Morrigan ~ LOOK AT HER! When you see a green-haired succubus with her BEEWBZ nearly exposed, you can't help but stare. With Faye, there's a lot more work needed to be done in order to get under her shirt. In terms of idealism, Faye isn't what you'd call the ideal girl. She's playful, overconfident, and will use whatever means to get what she wants. You can say that with Morrigan, but she's more friendly and approachable....I definitely want to approach her and be friends with her if you know what I mean. As much as I love Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, one of the greatest Anime(s) of all time, I have to say ~ Morrigan won this hands down.
