The Fans-service is quite strong in this Anime. Imagine being a dude whose allergic to cats, but there's this one samurai chick who says she's your bodyguard AND she's a cat-like demon. Would you tap that if it meant your allergies would escalate over 9000? Well, I think what we'd all know what to do if we were in his position. F the allergies...I'd tap that pussy all day and night (See what I did there, LOL). Anywho, Omamori Himari is Manga series that ran from 2006-2013 that spawned into a 12 episode Anime series in 2010. Was it great? No. Did it have a lot of fan-service. It certainly has points, but I can name 10 other Anime that are just as perverted as this. What drew me into this Anime is that it's a Harem (my favorite genre) and, for once, I wanted to see the main character get with the cat-chick. In Harem(s), there are multiple girls that fight for the main character's affections. However, I saw that the cat-chick & the main protagonist were a perfect fit and that's why I had no other reason to doubt that it'll eventually happen. With the childhood friends & various lady demons, I didn't see much affinity as much as I saw lust for his character. With the cat-chick, she was all over him physically and mentally. It was inevitable on who'd end up together in the series. This is a action/harem/comedy series and did it deliver? Well, I can say that this Anime is a copycat since I've seen various Anime that have done this approach w/Cat-chicks, fighting demons, & overall being in the center of a harem of weird chicks. To me, it was an OK series and I was expecting a bit more from the finale, but hey it happened and Omamori Himari is finished. I'd say if you'd like to see a typical Harem/action series, then try it out. If it doesn't float your boat, more power to you. In my opinion of Harems, I've seen better.
