Throwback #6 - Plushy (Anime-Filler Mod Souls)

Remember these lil plushies that have brought us enjoy and entertainment? Remember how they helped us out in the Bount and even to some extent the Arrancar? If not, remember how annoying they were? I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but I wasn't a big fan of the mod souls in the Bount arc.. One was enough, but now we got 3 more? I'm bringing this up because although I find them to be quite annoying and bothersome, they are still nostalgic characters in the Bleach anime. Being only Anime characters, these 3 (picture above and below) were the ones who could sense Bounts and fought alongside Team Ichigo & the Soul Society. I will admit the girl mod soul having a lil crush on Ichigo is pretty cute, but we all know in the end it's Ichihime (sorry Ichiruki fans, but Im a Ichihime kinda guy).

These 3 adorable plushies go by the names Ririn (Bird), Kurodo (Pink purse), and Noba (Turtle), they accompany Ichigo in defeating the Bounts. They did some damage, but Ichigo in the end saved the day alongside the other Shinigami. I wanna start off with this - I wasn't a big fan of the Bount arc. I found it to be talkative and not enough action. There has to be a balance in order for it to be entertaining while at the same time giving detail as to why its important. I may/may not look back into this anime filler arc, but that won't change my opinion on the 3 mod souls (excluding Kon). I mean they were annoying in my opinion. Putting them into plushies didn't sit well with me - it only created comic relief that was forced rather than it be prevalent. For example Ichigo and Rukia's shenanigans are prevalent throughout each arc as well as Ichigo's constant bickering with other characters. See that worked, but when you put anime-filler characters with Kon - it only distracts the Bleach audience. I mean in their humanoid forms, they did some damage I will admit. But in their plushy forms, comic relief all the way.

Now that I've ranted on about the mod souls, does that mean I hate these 3 with a passion? No, not at all. I just find them annoying and distracting. I mean the Bount arc, you could see why their roles were prevalent because they did help fight Kariya and the rest of the Bount from taking over Soul Society and causing havoc. In the Arrancar arc, that was forced. Not only was that NOT in the manga, but in the anime - they got their asses kicked. To me, these 3 mod souls serve as forced comic relief. If you like them, more power to you, it's just not my cup of tea. In terms of Kon, I will admit for the first mod soul - he was funny, he was perverted, and he kicked ass against Ichigo in his own body. So Kon is passable for me, but the 3 mod souls, at least in their plushies, I wasn't a fan of. In their humanoid forms, they were alright.

Bleach Segment Fridays (#3) - The Real Zangetsu

So this week's segment isn't going to be long since this week's chapter wasn't much of a long read. The only thing you needed to know on what happened is that Old Man Zangetsu wasn't the real Zangetsu and that the real Zangetsu is shown at the end while Old Man Zangetsu is at peace and withers away. Zangetsu's initial appearance is so blinding that it pretty much ends the chapter *snap* like that. I am curious to know its shape and form since its from Ichigo's hollow and if Ichigo's visored powers are still active.

Honestly, there's not much to say. Ichigo's hollow is Zangetsu and the Zangetsu knew all along was his Quincy powers who for some reason didn't want Ichigo to become a Shinigami because he feared for Ichigo's life and that he would have to kill him. It took less than a 2 minutes to read, but other than that, I expect more in the new bleach chapter. Til then, tune in for another Throwback this Sunday. Stay Classy.

WBCR - I am, but I am not (Grade B)

So ladies and gentlemen, the latest chapter was released this morning It pretty much can be summed up in 3 words: continuing revelation chapter. You are well aware that Juha Bach was Zangetsu in the last chapter from 1000 years ago as explained in my last bleach chapter and segment. This chapter pretty much continues that, but with Ichigo nonetheless still taking in the fact that his "Zangetsu" was Juha Bach. Ichigo is pretty much in denial and for many reasons. He's been forging his power alongside "Zangetsu" who helped him complete his training against formidable foes (such as Kenpachi). He fought alongside "Zangetsu" as if he were an inner extension of himself that represents his Shinigami powers. However, this isn't the case as "Zangetsu" represented Ichigo's Quincy powers, NOT his Shinigami powers. Ichigo comes to the stunning realization that Juha Bach looks like Zangetsu (or Old Man by Ichigo). "Zangetsu" goes on to and says that he is Juha Bach, but not at the same time. He doesn't represent good or bad, but only serves as Ichigo's quincy powers. Ichigo, at this point, is in complete denial and confusion. Up until now, "Zangetsu" has truthfully been giving Ichigo wisdom and fortitude, but his only deception was his name. Ever since "Zangetsu" taught Ichigo about his Zanpaktou, it was his Ichigo's powers that were used at that time and when Ichigo was in peril, it was Ichigo's hollow that helped him out, NOT "Zangetsu." As said above, "Zangetsu" didn't want Ichigo to become a Zanpaktou and because of it, he had no choice but to become Ichigo's primary source of power. He feared Ichigo, being a Shinigami, would put his life at risk at every peril Ichigo would encounter and that "Zangetsu" would eventually cut him down, but this changes. He saw Ichigo constantly training and improving himself despite the struggles and perils he had to go through. It then shows "Zangetsu" saying he's at peace and whatnot, believing that Ichigo overcame all the ordeals. He adds on to say that he'll relinquish his hold on Ichigo as he withers away and reveals - the real Zangetsu and that what Ichigo was previously using was only a fraction. And that's pretty much the chapter.

Not much to say since I covered it all, but it seems that Zangetsu was meant to be Ichigo's blade, the real one at that. It's so blinding that it concludes the chapter at that. What will it look like? Will it be as as badass ad before? Now that Ichigo's hollow represents him, will he still have the mask? Overall, I thought this chapter was okay. I mean there wasn't much buildup, it's just repeating itself w/little more dialogue. The real Zangetsu reveal is the big question, but other than that, it was a average chapter that took less than a minute to read and I was expecting more. Tune in Friday for Segment of the week.

Toshiro Hitsugaya vs. Gray Fullbuster (Ice Ice Baby)

Vs.

The two ice men that kick complete ass while still staying pretty to all the fans. Not only are these two strong in their own right, but have a woman by their side all the time (Juvia & Rangiku). If you haven't guessed already, this week's matchup is between Bleach's Toshiro Hitsugaya vs. Fairy Tail's Gray Fullbuster - the Ice Ice Baby matchup if you will. These two serve as friends of the main protagonists as well as being a favorable character in the overall series. Use ice as their primary element of attack, these two know how to put "chill" in chilling out their enemies. The main difference is one's a Shinigami and the other a Magi, but does this make the other better than the other? I mean both have abilities that have outwitted their opponents, both are willing to risk their lives to save a woman they care about, and both have rivals (Gray and Natsu & Toshiro and Ichigo).

Toshiro is the 10th Captain of the Gotei 13. His Bankai (Daiguren Hyorinmaru) pretty much is an Ice Dragon and with his Bankai, he can do attacks revolving around ice that can "chill out" his opponents. At a young age, Toshiro has been a unique specimen. He grew up alongside his Grandma and his childhood friend who became a Shinigami, Momo Hinamori. Rangiku Matsumoto, Toshiro's lieutenant, was the one who found out about Toshiro's power and even persuaded him to join the Gotei 13 in order to control his powers from hurting others (especially his Grandma). In all his battles, he always unveils a trick up his sleeve as his sword is capable of multiple attacks. Take for example his attack Ryusenka (Dragon Hail flower) - stab an opponent and the tip of his sword when in contact with an object encases and freezes that object. Toshiro's past is what defines him as being one of the youngest captains of the Gotei 13 as well as being one fo the central secondary characters in the series. He serves as Ichigo's felow comrade and through all his battles, he comes out stronger than ever. Currently, his Bankai has been stolen and he has to resort to basic swordsmanship skills in order to stand any chance against the Vandenreich.

Gray Fullbuster is a Ice-Make Mage capable of making attacks pertaining to ice. Take for example - Ice Make Shield and Ice Make Sword. His abilities allow him to be pretty creative with his attacks while at the same time there's no originality behind it. Just say Ice-Make and name an object (Sword, Arrow, Shield) and he can make it happen. His abilities are shaping and creating forms from ice and forging it into his power. He has shown to be a valuable asset to Team Natsu (Lucy, Natsu, Erza, & Gray - alongside Happy, Wendy, and Carla). Gray has had a troublesome past since his home and his family were pretty much wiped out by the demon Deliora. He, alongside his master, Ur, and his friend, Lyon, were pretty much the closest thing he has had to a family. When Ur sacrificed herself and Lyon Gray's enemy (later rival/friend), Gray was left alone up until he joined Fairy Tail and became one of the team. The Shirtless Ice-Man is cool, witty, and serves as both a comic relief/rival to Natsu and a obsessed love interest for Juvia.

So these two's comparisons are as followed:
1) Tragic pasts and joined part a organization (Gotei 13/Fairy Tail)
2) Abilities that shape/form/revolve around  Ice
3) Woman  serve them (Rangiku/Juvia)
4) Friends/Rivals with Protagonist (Ichigo/Natsu)
5) Childhood Friends (Momo/Lyon)

The verdict, in my opinion, would have to be - Hitsugaya

Why: Well, I know this might sound unfair, but I think Hitsugaya was gonna win the entire time because not only does he utilize Ice, but also WATER. I mean his powers have been manifesting since he was young and he has had a difficult time learning how to cope with that. Unlike Gray who had a teacher at a young age, Toshiro didn't have one. Toshiro had to be influenced by a Shinigami in order to learn of his powers, but even then - he still is learning while it seems Gray is fully aware of how to go about with his powers. I will admit Gray's past was more troubling than Toshiro's, but that doesn't excuse the main factor - Gray can forge anything from Ice-Make and Toshiro's Hyorinmaru has a limit (in Bankai) that utilizes his power while at the same time depletes his spiritual energy. So that means Toshiro is gambling with his life as he constantly uses Bankai against his opponents. Gray seems as if he can get himself out of trouble while Toshiro is constantly getting into trouble - which makes his fight more believable when he wins and overcomes the odds while still retaining some spirit energy. Gray is good and all, but I found his powers unoriginal compared to Toshiro and that with Toshiro's Shikai/Bankai, the dragon is a representation of Toshiro's power - he is the dragon, he can control ice AND water, and he uses all this when swinging his blade (much like Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho utilizing Dragon of the Darkness Flame and him becoming that dragon). Gray I found was a dull, but a fun character - it's just that when you compare how Toshiro utilizes ice and water with his powers, Gray's powers are predicable and not that creative compared to Toshiro.

So who do you think would've won? Toshiro Hitsugaya or Gray Fullbuster? Vote now! Look forward to Who Would Win in a Fight Mondays every Monday.

Throwback #5 - Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez

Ah, I remember this guy. Not only was he one of my favorite Espadas, he was, in my opinion, one of Ichigo's fated rivals (the others being Kenpachi, Byakuya, & Uryuu). This beast's presence when entering Karakura town was just phenomenal. He did considerable damage to Ichigo and even his spiritual pressure was enough to scare both Ichigo & Rukia. He represents the aspect of Destruction and it clearly shows as he is merciless in taking down his opponents, getting what he wants by force, and not complying all the time with his master's orders (which of course resulted in consequences).

He didn't even give a second thought to his subordinates who died in battle - that's how cold and hardcore he is. He is the 6th Espada and for that reason, this guys kicks major ass. He not only f'ed up Ichigo, he humiliated him. Even in his Bankai form, Ichigo couldn't do much damage to this monster. Rukia said his spiritual energy is worlds apart from the Arrancar that Rukia killed and when the title "6" is tattooed on Grimmjow, then it means you don't underestimate him. Grimmjow impaled Rukia as if it were nothing and made Ichigo into his punching bag. He clearly outmatches and outclasses Ichigo in every aspect since Ichigo refuses to let his inner hollow take over him. Later, however, that changes as Ichigo & Grimmjow are evenly matched in their second and third encounters.

Grimmjow's Resurreccion is called Pantera (translates into Panther King). His form is not only badass in design and power, but he has a lot of abilities that prove to be catastrophic. He uses Gran Rey Cero which does considerable damage and is considered banned from usage in Hueco Mundo. In Ichigo's first fight, he lost and was sparred, much to Ichigo's humiliation and disappointment. In his second fight, Ichigo did more damage to Grimmjow (while Grimmjow had a handicap). In the third & final fight, both were pretty matches, but just as Grimmjow was about to continue his ramapage, the 5th Espada, Nnoitra, struck him down with his huge-ass blade. So that brings up the question - is Grimmjow dead? The answer is No. He is hinted to be alive alongside a few other Arrancar and could be an asset agains the incoming war against the Vandenreich. Grimmjow's past is explored more upon meeting his subordinates, who were at the time Grimmjow's enemies/food. Being fiercely loyal Grimmjow upon witnessing his strength and tenacity, Grimmjow was allowed to live and served as their leader until they turned into Vasto Lorde. Grimmjow, to this day, still serves as one of the many rivals of Ichigo as well as many Bleach fans adoring him for his power, design, and overall badassery.

Bleach Segment Fridays (#2) - Zangetsu = Juha Bach

So this week's installment of Bleach Segment of the Week is no surprise - Zangetsu. I mean I went in length on the WBCR, but it seems that he is now the talk of the Bleach franchise. I mean we all know Ichigo and Zangetsu go together like Salad and Dressing, but it seems as if its apples and oranges now with the big reveal - Zangetsu is Ichigo's Quincy power. I mean that moment stood out for all Bleach fans, like it or not, it just happened. Zangetsu's appearance has been compared to Juha Bach since his appearance as this arc's Antagonist. He's been around for a long time and went further to killing off Old man Yama just like that, his henchmen doing much damage, but the real Juha going fatality on Old man Yama's ass. So this very scene in the manga depicts the moment of Zangetsu's importance as he is Juha Bach 1000 years ago and represents Ichigo's quincy powers meaning - he never was Ichigo's Zanpaktou power, but most likely an aid for his future battles up until he uncovers the truth. Note that the filler arc of Zanpaktou tales is most likely NOT linked to the current arc in the Manga. I mean this has been plaguing people's minds once this revelation was shown in this week's Bleach chapter. I wonder what what will happen next week because with this Revelation, we are diving into Ichigo's quincy powers and his inner hollow turns out to be his actual Zanpaktou, not Zangetsu. In fact, he's NOT Zangetsu, he's Juha Bach.

So that concludes this week's Friday segment. I mean it shouldn't come off as a surprise that I chose this as the segment today because, ya'know, it got all Bleach fans speculating, questioning, and ranting on about this revelation. Tune in on Sunday for another Throwback of Bleach.

P.S. Made recent changes to blog. New background, Daft Punk album in the background, and new color scheme w/scrolling posts from the start to current on the side.

WBCR - The Revelation (Grade A+)

Ladies and Gentlemen, did you read this latest Bleach chapter that has gotten much attention with the Bleach fans? Ichigo's Zangetsu turned out to be Juha Bach from 100 years ago and is his QUINCY powers. So that, my fellow Bleach fans, is the big revelation - Ichigo has both Shinigami & Quincy powers. Zangetsu, whom we all loved and adored, was never a Zanpaktou, but it personified Ichigo's quincy powers in the form of Juha Bach. Ichigo's new Zanpaktou as of now is being crafted/forged by Oetsu and his "Sword Five" consisting of 4 beautiful chicks (well some) and is coincidentally the title of this week's chapter. Many fans, now, will either do one of two things - create a theory behind this chapter on Ichigo's revelation or dismiss it entirely. I for one am pumped about this week's chapter because it had questions and left us to conjure up answers of our own in hopes it'll be correct. The chapter pretty much is Ichigo getting his Zanpaktou forged and the revelation of Ichigo's Quincy powers projected as Juha Bach from 1000 years ago. First off, I had a feeling that Juha Bach and Zangetsu looked awfully familiar - black wavy hair, facial hair, same-looking eyes, and black cloak. This revelation of Ichigo's Quincy powers isn't much a surprise because it was heavily hinted during Masaki's backstory with Isshin. Inheriting powers from your folks is pretty common in most Action manga. The Quincy powers have played a pivotal role in Uyuu's life, but now the center of the Quincy name is now on Ichigo. Juha Bach takes on the form of Zangetsu and Ichigo's hollow turns out to be his actual forged Zanpaktou. Zangetsu/Juha Bach is the central topic of this chapter because Ichigo is now self-aware that he has Quincy powers, Zangetsu was never his Zanpaktou, and Zangetsu is Juha Bach from years ago. What I want to know, aside from the many Bleach fans asking, is why did Zangetsu help out Ichigo in the past? To give him strength, teach him, or use all that combined to later on betray Ichigo. There must an ulterior motive behind this - Juha Bach being Zangetsu could be one of many things. First he's a quincy, not a Zanpaktou, and secondly, if Ichigo now knows he is his enemy, then why did Zangetsu stay with him or furthermore - Juha Bach seems to have a part of Ichigo's life - are they related? Does "my son born in darkness" inquire something about the two characters? Is 1000 year old Zangetsu that Ichigo knew going to explain in the next chapter, turn out to be good, or be evil as he already is presently?

So you see this chapter has gotten much of my attention in my speculations of Ichigo's Quincy and Shinigami powers. The backstory further added to the idea that Ichigo's Mom is a Quincy and Ichigo's Dad is a Shinigami - making him a hybrid child born with the two powers to become the Ultimate Spirit Warrior (cheesy ain't it). I'd say it comes as close to being a perfect chapter w/Ichigo's Zanpaktou explanation with the hollows (His hollow is forging to be his Zanpaktou) and Ichigo's revelation on his Quincy Powers/Zangetsu = Juha Bach from 1000 years ago. I give this week's chapter an A+. Tune in for Friday on this week's Bleach segment

Byakuya Kuchiki vs Hiei (Battle of Speed, Calmness, & Tragic Pasts)

VS.

So the first matchup that came to my mind is Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach & Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. Both, in my personal opinion, embody 3 elements that make them similar: Cool, Fast, & have plenty of tricks up their sleeve to keep them interesting. They are considered cool in both their personality and character to the point that they have both attracted rivals, Renji/Ichigo/Kenpachi from Bleach & Kuwabara/Yusuke/Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho. Both have tragic pasts where Byakuya lost the love of his life and Hiei was abandoned/cursed from his own birth-home as well as not seeing his sister for a long time. They also both have attacks that make em formidable opponents for the main character (Ichigo Kurosaki & Yusuke Urameshi). These two were first antagonists to the main character, but later would become allies. And to add - both got their asses kicked by the protagonist. They are powerful in their own right, but they are far beyond perfect. Both have openings in their power and have been overpowered by tough opponents, but nonetheless - that's what makes this duo a pretty good pair to match in a fight. I won't got in depth on their abilities one by one, but I will got a little bit on their main power (Senbonzakura vs. Dragon of the Darkness Flame).

Byakuya's Zanpaktou is considered both fast and elegant, capable of doing considerable damage. Look at Renji. He lost to Byakuya in his Bankai form and survived. Same as Ichigo. Senbonzakura has done considerable damage to all of Byakuya's opponents. Not only that Byakuya is a Kido practitioner and a pretty good one at that as well as a Shunpo Expert. A combination of a deadly Shikai/Bankai ability, Kido Expert, and Shunpo Master - Byakuya mixes the elements of cool and fast. Not only that, he can foresee his opponents next move, always remains calm during a fight, and he isn't hesitant to abide by a set of rules and regulations to ensure the peace and prosperity of the Soul Society.

Hiei is a demon that has killed many that have got in his way. I mean look at Yusuke, with his Jagan Eye, Hiei did a good number on Yusuke. But what of Hiei's other opponents like Shigure, Bui, or Momotaro? They did a number on him, but nonetheless Hiei kicked their asses and you know what - Hiei is, if not, THE Dragon of the Darkness Flame. I mean Damn, he pulverized them and did it with style. Hiei is fast, has plenty of dragon attacks, and has the Jagan Eye. He pretty much a speed machine w/element of epic Darkness Dragon and his Jagan (demon) form. He remains calm, analyzes his opponents, and wants what's best for Team Urameshi and his sister, Yukina.

So in my opinion - these two have had the following:

1) A Tragic past that defines who and what they are
2) Fast as Shit when reading/predicting their opponents
3) Calm as Fuck in most battles
4) Plenty of Tricks up their Sleeve (techniques and abilities)
4) Got their asses kicked by protagonists

The final verdict is (in my opinion) - Byakuya Kuchiki

Why: Despite Hiei's impressive agility, badass techniques, and over-the top style of beating the crap out of his opponents, I found Byakuya's strength, demeanor, and overall style of fighting to be more defensive that Hiei's. Byakuya has both a defensive and offensive fighting style with Hiei is solely focused on offense with his speed being the escape route. I mean Byakuya can create a shield from Senbonzakura and he takes command of over 1000+ blades while Hiei, impressive as a Dragon, could only do much. Byakuya has lost to Ichigo, that is without question, but it was pretty much tied (in my opnion). For Hiei vs Yusuke, Hiei clearly lost and even got knocked out. Byakuya not only lost lotta blood when he fought Ichigo, he had the balls to save Rukia from Gin and sustain even more injury to himself. Hiei, impressive and badass as he is, I hate to break it to ya, but Byakuya Kuchiki is the stronger opponent. I found him more relatable because you see the pain he's going through with Rukia (being Hisana's little sister) and how is perception of duty changed upon meeting Ichigo. Same can be said Hiei and meeting Yusuke, but I think Hiei joined partly because he's taking the Vegeta-Route (Where he sees his rival as a friend, but still wants to prove himself a bit). Hiei, you see his pain, but it's as if it doesn't affect him as much as Byakuya's because Hiei's past is explained more in the final arc of Yu Yu Hakusho wheras Byakuya's was explained in the first major Arc of the story with more to come afterwards. So who did you think won? Comment Below. Look forward to Who Would Win in a fight Mondays every Monday.

Throwback #4 - Ichigo vs. Renji (Round 1)

So I was thinking back on Ichigo's many fights and I figured Hey, what about his first fight with a Shinigami? And then it hit me - Ichigo vs. Renji w/the result of Rukia going with Renji and Byakuya to the Soul Society & Ichigo gettin' his hand handed to him with Zabimaru! Yes, our orange-haired hero got his ass pwned by Renji's Zabimaru because Ichigo's strength wasn't at its peak nor was Zangetsu even around at the time, leaving Ichigo vulnerable, inexperienced, and it being the first time Ichigo is fighting a Shinigami -  he clearly is outmatched in every aspect. Ichigo now only has no clear form of his Zanpaktou, but didn't even know that Zanpaktou had names or that there was a Shikai form. With Renji's Zabimaru, Ichigo was both outmatched and outclassed due to Renji's experience. Zabimaru proved too much for Ichigo and although Ichigo's spiritual energy was a bit impressive, he was still no match for Renji. This proved to be a great loss for Ichigo because he was unable to save Rukia from turning herself in for her crimes and Rukia, greatly upset with Ichigo attempting to save her, had no regrets when she departed form the Human World.

Ichigo now must save Rukia which then turns out become the central arc for Ichigo and his team (Yoruichi, Orihime, Chad, & Uryuu). This loss would be not just a wake-up to Ichigo, but this proved to be the perfect timing to train himself with Urahara to find out about his Zanpaktou, get his Shikai (form, shape, & power), and learn a technique that could be useful when fighting off other Shinigami in Gotei 13 since he clearly is starting war by doing so. To rescue Rukia, he must start a war. That war would go through its ups and downs, but nonetheless his first loss to Renji would become the birthplace for Ichigo gaining power. This would become the defining moment for Ichigo that would shape and mold his powers into that of the Ichigo we know and love - Badass, Kickass, and a complete Beast!

Bleach Segment Fridays (#1) - Look at this beast!

So as you know this is Friday's first Bleach segment - the thing in Bleach that stood out. It could be a character, something in the plot, or just a moment in Bleach. In my opinion, what stood out was Sajin's great grandfather. I mean Ichigo saying Goodbye to Ichigo is a nice twist to the story because Zangetsu has been with him from the start, but look at this monster - LOOK AT THIS BEAST! He means business when he says he'll kick Sajin's Ass. Here's a picture of him. You see how big in comparison he is to Sajin. Man if this thing were in front of me, I'd piss my pants, run away screaming, and be like "He's gonna crush my puny body!" So I thought this welcome addition to Sajin's character development is interesting and this secret technique of his, I wanna know what it's capable of and what it will do to the Vandenreich. What damage it'll do and the magnitude will be in the end.

So that concludes Friday's first Bleach segment. Short, sweet, and to the point. See you all on Sunday for Throwbacks. Make sure to vote on the poll. Your vote counts.

Bigger & Better Things (Update)

So I've been pondering about about Bleach (of course) and began to question, am I only posting from time to time and not daily? Bleach chapter reviews are every Wednesday or whenever the chapter's released and making polls is posted monthly, but I can't do it without you ladies and gentlemen. The poll is almost done and there are barely if none votes. If this continues, I will take down the polls and post them every other month (see what'll happen then). As of now, I am gettin' back into posting and will continue to do so. Here is my schedule of how things will go about.

Mondays - Who would win in a fight Mondays.
What is it: I make a comparison of Bleach characters to other popular franchises. It'd be interesting to see who'll win in the confrontation (strictly opinion, but feel free to express yourselves) w/pictures and opinion on who'd win.

Wednesdays - Bleach Chapter Reviews Wednesdays (w/Spoilers)
What is it: Daily Bleach reviews on latest chapter released w/picture + grade.

Fridays - Bleach Segment Fridays
What is it: What stood out in Bleach weekly - characters, plot, powers, etc. w/picture.

Throwback #3 (The Death Trilogy Overture: Death & The Strawberry) (Pt 3-Finale)

So Imma try and keep this short for you guys since Ichigo has been through a lot and we're wrapping up the beginning stages of him being a Substitute Soul Reaper. So Orihime & Chad have powers of their own, Uryuu is a Quincy, Kon (nuff said about a Mod Soul), and Rukia is finding it difficult to adjust to a Gigai. Ichigo, on the other hand, is kicking ass & taking names, taking down Hollows as well as discovering what it's like to be a Shinigami. There is, however, one particular moment in Ichigo's becoming a Shinigami that'll change him forever - encountering his mother's killer: Grand Fisher. A monster that took Masaki's life when Ichigo was just a boy, scarring him. With his Dad and two sisters, Ichigo has carry the burden of his family as well as the responsibilities of a Shinigami. Whereas Grand Fisher is content with doing what he does most - tricking and eating people, Ichigo id disgusted by this, falls to tears, and goes all crazy on this Hollow. Not only did this Hollow influence Ichigo to become stronger as a person, but it reminds us of the pain Ichigo has had to endure and meeting the murderer right before his eyes - perfect opportunity for revenge.

Atop of Ichigo's one-man stand against Grand Fisher, Rukia herself is having trouble. She sees that her remaining power is disappearing and she is becoming more human-like by the second, meaning that her body wouldn't be able to return to the Soul Society if she completely turned human in her Gigai body. So what will she do? Running away seems to be the only option as she begs Ichigo & Kon to keep their mouths shut and not do a thing or else. Well that turned out quite unexpected as two Shinigami come to pick up Rukia, sentencing her pretty much for her crimes. This leads Ichigo to encounter these two men: Renji Abarai & Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia's friend and older brother (Nee-Sama). Ichigo terribly loses and thus has to train himself in order to rescue Rukia from execution. Ichigo questions why Byakuya's brother would betray his own sister, but the needs of the Soul Society outweigh Rukia's need to stay alive and live with her crimes. Leaving Ichigo nearly dead and Rukia disappointed w/Ichigo's sudden actions to help her out despite her pleas to not, what can Strawberry do against high-level Shinigami?

This is where we conclude it all with a training montage with Ichigo and Kisuke Urahara, former captain of the 12th Division exiled/banished from Soul Society. Here, we discover Ichigo learning of his own power, Zanpaktou, and his own potential as a Shinigami. He earns his Shikai, has a new sword, and Team Ichigo (Ichigo, Orihime, Uryu, & Chad) - he is now ready to embark on an adventure to save Rukia, haul ass, and return home - without dying of course. Urahara is Ichigo's guide as he trains him and opens a gateway to Soul Society. We then see Benihime, Urahara's Zanpaktou in its Shikai state, and what it's capable of doing compared to Ichigo's bland broadsword w/out a name.

Ichigo now must battle for his life alongside his friends to save Rukia and discover that the world he has come to known about the Shinigami is a mysterious, dangerous, and astonishing place full of strong Shinigami, unique Zanpaktou capabilities, and secrets that'll change Soul Society - for better or worse.

LOOK FOR BLEACH CHAPTER REVIEW BELOW. IT'S PRETTY LONG, BUT IT'S WELL WORTH THE READ!

Goodbye Slaying Moon (Grade A-)

So where did we leave off? The last chapter was a setup chapter w/everyone preparing to kick some major ass (or shall we say Major Payne). This week's Bleach chapter is a continuation of that with more characters shown and elaboration on Sajin & his Lord (later revealed to be his Great Grandfather). So to start, we see that Mayuri has some things planned as Akon and the rest of the 12th Division discover that Mayuri is making something, but what is it? A monster that could possibly be an Ally for the upcoming war? A specimen that could be a remnant of Hollows? Or perhaps a corpse of a Quincy that could be used as a war weapon against his/her own kind? Who knows and when Mayuri's involved, it's usually one of two things: Disturbingly Awesome or Horribly Comical (There is a difference by the way). And we have something we don't see everyday - Omaeda and his family. We catch a glimpse of Omaeda's cute sister who comically doesn't remotely look related to Omaeda in any sense and his glasses reading brother. Marechiyo then says that his captain ended up leaving him, meaning that Sui-Feng is in preparation for the upcoming war and Marechiyo would, in her case, just get in the way. This could also be a disciplinary action since I believe she had previously lost against the Vandenreich w/her Bankai stolen from her. She could be ashamed and like Toshiro, training their asses off from scratch. And now we have Sajin and his Great Grandfather discussing matters of Sajin's Clan as well as some sort of secret technique that could be used against the Vandenreich. So there is more of the Wolfpack, but Sajin, according to the big ass Wolf GG, is a disgrace for masking his appearance (look back at Sajin's old appearance before Kenpachi disposed of it). What is controversial in this is that the big ass Wolf wants nothing to do with the outside world and Sajin, but Sajin keeps on insisting that there's more to it - that there is a purpose in trying to save the world despite what the big ass Wolf thinks. This leads to a impasse in which the only way to  convince him otherwise is if Great Grandson and Great Grandfather fight. So who'll win? The big ass Wolf GG who talks big and probably has lotta experience or Sajin, the 7th captain of the Gotei 13? This I gotta see and if it is off screen for any reason, it could be one of two reasons: Save time or F it (which I hope isn't the case). Finally, the ast part of the chapter is Ichigo saying goodbye ro Zangetsu according to Oetsu Nimaiya of the Royal Guard. Forging Ichigo's newfound Bankai requires Water and that's why Oetsu's Phoenix Palace is placed on a Cliff. Oetsu's says (also the end of the Chapter) - "Ya gotta say Sayonara to yer Zangetsu!" I want to see the direction of this because Zangetsu has been there the entire time. This came about when Ichigo trained with Urahara and got his Shikai formed Zangetsu and later his Bankai would resurface. Zangetsu is the man and you know without Ichigo wielding him, then what's the point. I want to see if Ichigo would so easily abandon Zangetsu or the chance that he'll have a new Zanpaktou with a new name that is either equal to Zangetsu's awesomeness or lamer. Hope it's not cliche. Rukia contributed to Ichigo gaining Shinigami powers, but at the time he didn't have a Shikai. However, he all along had his own powers that are now resurfacing (Blood of Shinigami AND Quincy). So he is part Shinigami, Quincy, Visored, & Fullbringer. He ain't no ordinary human - he's 4 species w/orange hair and matching eyes to kick some serious ass from taking over the world.

Overall, pretty good setup once again for this chapter. Like last week's, Imma give it an A-. Look forward to next week's chapter ladies and gentlemen. It will most likely be LEGEN- (wait for it). Also look forward to Throwback #3 today posted above - DARY!

Throwback #2 (The Death Trilogy Overture: Death & The Strawberry) (Pt 2)

Sorry for the late delay, but something came up. So here is the 2nd installment on the The Death Trilogy Overture. Back when Ichigo saved Rukia from danger, Rukia was left a bit powerless and thus her encounter with Urahara left with the only option to have a Gigai. And so, Rukia helps out Ichigo in every way she can to preserve peace for the souls to pass on, fight off against Hollows, and retain a somewhat normal high school life w/Ichigo's friends: Orihime, Tatsuki, Chad, Keigo, and Mizuiro. However, things aren't as easy as Ichigo foresaw as Rukia's influence has greatly put a target on his back. Rukia, however, is determined to help out Ichigo until her powers return - even if it means to put on an "act" for all of Ichigo's friends. Rukia's influence has even caught the eye of the many female classmates, assuming Ichiruki is a thing, but Rukia denies that claim and simply says Ichigo is a good friend. Ichigo, ever since he got Shinigami powers, has influenced primarily two of his friends to be spiritually aware: Orihime Inoue & Chad Yasutora Sado. And thus begins Ichigo's struggle to preserve his secret from his classmates.

As Ichigo goes about fighting hollows, Orihime, Ichigo's friend, is as air-headed and kind as usual. There is one day that'll change Orihime forever. The day Orihime's leg was supposedly hurt, Rukia was  convinced that it perhaps could've been a Hollow that attacked her since the wound didn't look ordinary. Denying Ichigo's offer to walk her home after the accident, Orihime is suddenly attacked by Acidwire, a hollow that knows of Orihime Inoue. Turns out Acidwire is Sora, Orihime's deceased older brother, who took out Orihime's soul from her body as the Chain of Fate is remained unbroken, keeping her alive at the time. As the hero saves the damsel, the damsel realizes that she too has powers of her own known as Shun Shun Rikka. Orihime's encounter with Acidwire, Ichigo's influence, and Rukia's arrival, have greatly altered Orihime's destiny for the better. Now Orihime will later be part of Team Ichigo (Strawberry).

Chad, Ichigo's friend, is also a man who is now spiritually aware and has gained powers of his own thanks to Ichigo's influence & Rukia's arrival. Chad, like Orihime, kicks ass with his brute strength and tenacity. He, like Orihime, also faces a Hollow. Chad's history with Ichigo is that of mutual respect and trust. Ichigo saved him in the past from a group of thugs and made a promise to Ichigo to have his back and Ichigo his.

So this is the setup for the creation of Team Ichigo w/Uryuu Ishida being the last member to join. However, this is all to show Ichigo having a great influence and aspiring Orihime & Chad to find out of both their powers and their potential. With Hollows out and about, it won't be long before one man can stand alone and fight off against an army of monsters. It'll take more than just one man - it will take friends, side by side, to protect the peace and nature of Karakura Town. Ichigo now is not alone w/Orihime (Shun Shun Rikka), Chad (Brazo Derecha de Gigante - form 1), & Rukia (Shinigami). What I personally like about this setup is the friendship that grows with these characters and how they are willing to, like Ichigo, fight off against a common threat. The camaraderie of Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Rukia, and later Uryuu is a powerful once because like Ichigo's promise to Chad in the past, they all have each others backs. It went from Rukia and Ichigo being the dynamic Hollow-Fighting Duo to it being a Team effort. What's more, this only became possible thanks to Rukia. Without her, none of this would happen to Orihime, Chad, and even Uryuu. Rukia, like Ichigo, has also influenced Ichigo and his friends to become stronger, to always have each other's backs, and to grow as special people gifted with talents that can preserve peace for Karakura. And through this friendship lies a promise to be kept that will shape them for the many battles they will venture forth.

Stay tune for the third and final installment of The Death Trilogy Overture: Death & The Strawberry Tomorrow + Bleach chapter review.

Throwback #1 (The Death Trilogy Overture: Death & The Strawberry) (Pt. I)

With any franchise, there is always a beginning and though that beginning unfolds, unlocks, and unveils something wonderful. That, my friends, is the beginning of a journey you will take alongside any franchise you follow. So I'm here to give my insight on the very first Bleach episode of the series. This premiered on Adult Swim long ago and to this day, still continues every Saturday. I don't think I need to give much of a backstory on the series, but for those of you new to Bleach - I'll give you a quick little summary, insight on its origins, and points from the first arc throughout that'll lead up to what it'll be about later on. The chance encounter with Ichigo & Rukia (or Ichiruki).

Ichigo Kurosaki is your everyday teen who can see spirits, lives with a hyperactive and ecstatic Dad, and has two younger sisters. He helps spirits pass on and be at peace (shown when he beats up a bunch of thugs for knocking over a flower vase meant for a dead little girl). Everything changed once he met Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper (or Shinigami) designated in watching over Karakura Town. However, Rukia's powers were stolen when Ichigo agreed to help her out against a Hollow. And there's the first episode - Ichigo went from seeing spirits to a full-fledged Substitute Soul Reaper.

So I'll say that the setup of this is pretty interesting because you see Ichigo's life go from normal to being all badass and whatnot. He not only took Rukia's powers, but now Rukia has to train him to fight off Hollows and other threats to Karakura Town while balancing his family's shenanigans, his high school life, & his own personal life as a teenager. Things take a turn for the better when Ichiruki are together, but with Hollows coming about left and right, will Ichigo be able to balance everything and save the day? Well as the series progresses he does just that and even ends up meeting the very Hollow who took his mother's life (Spoiler for those who haven't gone that far).
It shows Ichigo's determination to help someone as strange as Rukia and do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and protection of his town. Ichigo, who can see ghosts, isn't the only one in the family who can see em'. Ichigo's sister, Karin, can seem them, Yuzu, has some sort of feel that they're there, and Ichigo's dad, Isshin, can see em' (but it doesn't heavily hint at it until WAY later). Ichigo, at first, was taken back when Rukia just appeared in his room without the slightest thought if Ichigo could see her or not since normal human beings can't see/sense Shinigami/Hollows.

The comedic relief between the two and the chemistry that began with Ichiruki is a strong one as they would grow closer as partners and even perhaps in the future Captain + Lieutenant partnership. The first season is Ichigo's baby steps into this whole new world that he is sorta familiar with and how he tends to balance out everything - shouldering everything on his own, not looking back, and living day by day w/Rukia, his teacher and friend, and his everyday friends (with some even being influenced by Ichigo's spiritual awareness). The start of it all it started to sound like a everyday normal teen life changed into a badass mothafu*ka who fights monsters and protects his home from threats all alike. This is the beginning of a wonderful life for Ichigo thanks to meeting Rukia Kuchiki. Bwahahahaha look for Pt. II Throwback tomorrow.

The Wolfpack (Grade A-)

So you guys read the latest Bleach chapter? What are your thoughts on what is happening? For me, I think the set up is gettin' good since war is upon them w/the Vandenreich. Ichigo is kickin' it now, Hisagi has a Bankai, Toshiro is practicing his swordsmanship, and a big ass Wolf creature appeared before Sajin in a cave. Something big is coming and who knows what Tite Kubo is planning next. All we know is that Shit's gonna go down with everyone. Ichigo now is a complete badass just extending his hand and getting his Asauchi. Toshiro is starting from the ground up what with his Bankai gone. Hisagi has a Bankai? Well it's to be expected and it seems like the 9th Division is the same as it was before Hisagi became Lieutenant. The man whom he respected is now his captain, but Hisagi still holds Tousen in high regard - calling out Kensei on NOT to say such things about his former captain. And now we have Mashiro kickin' ass and being super duper hyperactive as usual w/her hollow mask - punching Hisagi like hanging meat. I want to see Hisagi's Bankai cuz if u know Hisagi's Shikai does a lot damage, just imagine what that Bankai of his is capable of. And now we have the Wolfpack (Sajin and his "Lord." Who is that? Is that his master? A relative? A rival? All we know is that if Sajin and the big Wolf like creature are there, who knows how many exist. Overall, I'm liking the buildup and I look forward to seeing next week's installment of Tite Kubo's Bleach.

What to expect in the forthcoming Bleach chapter? +Unanswered questions

So we all know that the next Bleach chapter should be just around the corner. So it brings up the question, what do you expect to see? We now know that Uryuu is with Juha Bach (or is he?) and Ichigo now is aware of what has happened to her mother, now ready to kick some Vandenreich ass. Isshin and Masaki's past is now revealed and what of the Zero Division? What of the following Arrancars in Hueco Mundo such as Harribel, Grimmjow, and that Afro guy who got his ass beat by Chad? What of Ikumi (if she has any relevance whatsoever)? What of the Shiba clan (Do they know of Isshin being fathered to Ichigo)? What of the Fullbringers (are they ready to kick some ass)? And overall, is it an all-out war against the Vandenreich (Shinigami/Fullbringer/Arrancar/Visored vs. Vandenreich)? I'm curious, are you?

The Top 3 Giants

So a lot of Anime fans are well aware that the top 3 Shonen Jump Manga are One Piece, Bleach, & Naruto. However, speculations have arisen on which one is considered the best of the three, but I say that you can't declare one is better than the other without taking into consideration the story, characters, and overall atmosphere of the 3 combined. As such, there is a central theme in all 3.

Bleach - Soul Reapers & Secrets
Naruto - Ninjas & Friendship
One Piece - Pirates & Treasure

In my personal opinion, I think all 3 are masterpieces in their own rite, but I will say that Bleach is my favorite of the 3 next to Naruto & One Piece. I praise the artwork, storytelling, and characters (even fanservice). I enjoy Naruto for the elements of friendship and the different Jutsu they use as well as enjoying the overlapping character history. I enjoy One piece for the Nakama, Luffy's determination to kick ass, take names, and being naive as Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates as well as Nami, Nico Robin, & Boa Hancock (if you know what I mean).

I also explained my reasons for liking Bleach so I won't need to go in depth. Overall, I think all 3 are deserved of recognition and with its strengths and weaknesses, it's series will continue to thrive for many readers to enjoy.

Been awhile (2013 Shoutout!)

What's up everybody! I do sincerely apologize once more for my recent hiatus from the blog. Been busy with college and whatnot, but I am here once more to bring you reviews, polls, and Top Lists. I do tend to say a lot about what I'm gonna do, but this time it's 100% sure. So far, I've been caught up with Bleach and I gotta say, I'm impressed with the direction. The reveal of Masaki's fate, Juha Bach, & Uryuu allying himself with the enemy. It comes to show that it's about to go down with Shinigami, Quincy, Holow, Visored, and Fullbringers - it's a brawl that's bound to be awesome. As for the bleach poetry, I'm not quite sure if I will be posting it anytime soon - depends on you guys and girls if you want me to. Please leave a comment for any concerns.

Bleach 519: DAT ASS! -Bleach 519-

So you read the last chapter, it was confusing in part that so much was revealed. Fullbringers turn out to be helping out a buffed out Ganju, the "Uncle" scenario, & Grimmjow's return (it was him and you all know it). And now we are at this week's chapter and to my surprise, it's all about introducing Ichigo to the Zero Division, starting with Kirinji Tenjiirou, The Hot Spring Demon. The healing method was shown by Kirinji and how Urahara tried to replicate the hot spring when Ichigo and Yoruichi went into the hot spring long time ago (ahh...memories). We see that Byakuya, Renji, and even a butt-naked Rukia were being healed by Kirinji's methods. YES, we see a naked Rukia (well her butt anyway and a  fanservice title page w/Orihime - damn!) That made the chapter for me not gonna lie. Seeing a butt-naked Rukia (floating in the hot springs) and the fanservice page made me realize, Tite Kubo is giving the audience what it wants (fanservice). Think about it, all manga has some sort of fanservice one way and Bleach has a ton of it (Orihime, Nel, Rangiku to name a few). The Spirit King was also shown, but who is he really? I thought it'd be a lot more, ya'know, epic. It's just a guy waking up and being called "Spirit King-Sama." So now that Ichigo is with the Zero Division (learning of the Zero Division's towns that they look over + the King's palace), Ichigo is on his way to recovery thanks to Kirinji's healing abilities. Overall Rating:

A for ASS! (Rukia's Ass) (Awesome/Ahhhhh yeah!) (Rating pic above)

Check out the Bleach poll. There are still a week or two left before it closes. Make sure to vote. Thanks again.

Bleach Memes on 518

Here are some memes on Bleach 518.

Bleach 518 Grade: C for Confusing/Crazy!

Bleach Rating for this week: C for Confusing!

Bleach: Y U CONFUSE ME!? -Bleach 518-

So I believe it's been a week since the last Bleach chapter was released. Zero division arrived, Ichigo is told to go with them, & a certain someone from Hueco Mundo is on the other line. So the question remains: How was this week's chapter? Overall rating, Good, but confusing as shit. Allow me to explain some things: Ichigo's sword can't be fixed, but they can forge something that'll look like it. That's 1. Ichigo & the Zero Division use Kukaku's Cannon to go to the Spirit Palace. That's 2. And 3 - Kisuke Urahara & Ichigo talked. Those were the only things I got. And now here are the confusing things

1) A certain someone (probably Grimmjow) is in the background as Ichigo & Urahara were talking. If you see on one of the pages, you can see the person's sleeve rolled up - most likely Grimmjow.

2) Kukaku brings up Ganju to help out Ichigo by training with the......Fullbringers?

3) Kukaku states that if Ichigo didn't go with 0 Division, then the Gotei 13 would likely be gone even if it means disappointing "Uncle?" (Are Ichigo & Kukaku + Ganju related? Is this some sort of conspiracy relating to Kaien Shiba on why Ichigo looks like him?)

#2 is probably the most controversial because in the last arc (felt like a filler), Ginjo, Giriko, & Tsukishima were "buried." Giriko was cut in half by Kenpachi, Tsukishima succumbed to wounds inflicted by Byakuya, & Ginjo hopelessly lost to Ichigo. So why the F are they alive and helping out the Soul Society now? I think that there return could be forced (I hope not Kubo, I hope there's an explanation to this because I'm curious on how the dead could come back to life *snap* like that). #1 is the least controversial because a lot of people say its either Grimmjow or Isshin. Now the 3rd one, does this have to do with Ichigo looking like Kaien Shiba? If it is, then okay then, but I REALLY WISHED THAT THE SPIRIT KING WAS SHOWN IN THIS CHAPTER RATHER THAN WAITING FOR ANOTHER WEEK! DAMN IT! I mean it wasn't disappointing, but it was far from awesome. It's an "okay" chapter that leaves room for interpretation (Why Fullbringers? Why Grimmjow? Why "Uncle?"). So I give this chapter a C. Here's my new rating system:

A for Awesome/Ahhhhh Yeah!
B for Badass/Ballistic
C for Crazy/Confusing
D for Dang!/Da Fuq?

Check out more Bleach chapter reviews for the next upcoming week. VOTE on the new Poll.

College Life + Updates

Well College Life has started and I've been pretty busy since then + I admit I do get a little lazy to write anything since I might not be as informative as other reviewers (I'm strictly writing down main points and adding my own personal beliefs/opinons on the chapter). For those who still keep up with my blog, I do apologize for not posting up anything new since the start of October. And as for the poll, there's been problems with my posting it on my wall for some reason.

Since then, Bleach has been getting interesting. Zero Division has revealed themselves and I was, to be honest, not at all impressed with the character designs. I thought they'd be more, ya'know, badass? Well, in the next chapter where they talked to the "Gotei," looks are to be deceiving and they aren't to be fucked with. Ichigo now is said to be tagging along with the Zero Division and a "certain someone" from Hueco Mundo is contacting him saying that everyone has assembled. That pretty much sums up this week's chapter (next week I'll try to cover it if I have the time). So what do I feel about the arc so far? Interesting considering we know nothing of Ichigo's mother and the arc looks as if it's going to go more into Urahara and Isshin's side. I want to know more about the Zero Division. The upsetting part is: If a character appears to have died, DON'T TRY TO BRING THEM BACK BECAUSE ITS ILLOGICAL! I mean Byakuya's sword shattered and he was fucked up and now you're telling me he's alive? BS! I'm sorry, but that type of logic makes no sense. Stay dead. He was a pretty kickass character, but I believe him being alive is just being forced (either on popularity or polls). Other than that, I am looking forward to Bleach every week.

The Plot...unfolds (Bleach 510: The Extinction)

The new Bleach chapter has been released quite earlier than expected and its a good thing too since a lot of us were wondering: Who is Juha Bach? Well to be precise, I read this chapter in a matter of minutes and one of my assumptions was spot on: Someone went under his appearance and alias. So the fake Juha Bach is named Loyd Royd's R and the real Juha Bach has revealed himself and has taken Captain Yamamoto's Bankai. So now, it seems that the Soul Society is in deep shit because now....Captain Yamamoto has been cut down by Juha Bach in a matter of seconds. It appears that Juha's replacement was a distraction so that the real Juha Bach can meet with Aizen Sousuke, the previous antagonist of the Bleach Arc (I do not consider Ginjo Kugo a major antagonist). So now it seems that Juha wishes to hire Aizen, but his refusal pretty much sums up that Aizen has no intention to serve under someone else, but what caught my eye was that the underground chamber located under the 1st Division building was destroyed so this could happen:

1) Aizen's refusal triggered Juha to kill him

2) Aizen along with the 1st Division building collapsed due to Juha Bach

3) Aizen joined Juha and Aizen destroyed the 1st Division building.

So now we see that Captain Yamamoto has been cut, Juha met with Aizen, and Ichigo is still trapped. What will happen next? Tune in next week for the next Bleach Chapter. Until then, see you around.

Tenchin Kaijin!

So the plot twist unfolds in this week's new Bleach. As everyone as read, the "Juha Bach" that was doing battle with Captain Yamamoto got owned....literally. I mean the antagonist was arrogant, thought he could do away with Captain Yamamoto, and in the end bring down the Soul Society. But all things came to an end when Captain Yamamoto released his Bankai and pretty much shows what he is capable of. The flames itself are so intense that even Old Man Yama can bring back the dead he's slain, burn everything to a crisp, and pretty much destroy Soul Society with his Bankai alone. This chapter marks the plot twist as I said earlier because at the very end of the chapter, "Juha Bach's" torso was pretty much gone from Yamamoto's "Zanka No Tachi North - Tenchin Kaijin." After that, "Juha Bach" pretty much said "I wasn't strong enough. I'm sorry, Juha Bach-Sama." So that means that "Juha Bach" isn't the Juha Bach we all know and thought was the main bad guy. This, in my opinion, is a forefront to something far more dangerous than anyone has ever expected. "Juha Bach", the guy who got owned could be one of the three following in my opinion

1) He's a copy of Juha Bach, but copies are not as strong as the original.

2) A messenger of Juha Bach and went under his name to convince Soul Society that he was Juha Bach

3) A replacement Juha Bach (the name itself could be a title rather than an individual name).

So I'm curious to know how this plot twist unfolds. Until then, wait til the next chapter. Sorry I wasn't able to post the poll. There's been recent problems with posting up polls + I started school. So if I don't update weekly, just know that I'll update eventually.

So far.....so very far....(Progress on Bleach Blog)

It's been awhile since I posted any Bleach lyrics and I'd like to apologize again for not posting anything recently. I've been quite busy with Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and I'm starting the college life soon. I don't honestly know if I'm going to post up any Bleach lyrics any time soon, but I can say that I'll be posting up Bleach reviews (videos or posts). I'm sorry that I'm not sticking to what I usually do and am changing it up, but remember, I haven't given up on Bleach. So please look forward to future Bleach posts and I hope you can understand my situation now (though videogames aren't an actual excuse, but it's TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2). So far, Bleach is progressing nicely. Yamamoto is kicking ass in his Bankai state. Also, I'd like to apologize for not posting up the next poll - there's been problems on updating my blog. I'll try again, but for now, just wait.

Bleach 507: The Fire 3 (Review)

Bleach 507 Review: The Fire 3. Yamamoto whoops some a$$, but can Juha handle the Fire?

8/31/2012

Bleach 505: The Fire

So in the previous chapter of Bleach, it went into a backstory of Captain Yamamoto & his former lieutenant Chojiro Sasakibe. It went into Yamamoto's scars (and describes its shape and look), what he looked like before his "grandpa" look, Chojiro's dedication to Captain Yamamoto, and even how Yamamoto got the name "Genryuusai" before it was "Eijisai" and "Juujisai" It was a backstory reliving the days that Yamamoto and Chojiro were getting along and learning of Chojiro's Bankai, which pretty much gave Yamamoto a scar. However, Driscoll Berci used Chojiro's Bankai against Captain Yamamoto to no avail thus Driscoll's face was burned. Not only was that epic, but it'll eventually lead up Yamamoto's rage against the Vandenreich.

In this chapter, Yamamoto goes rampant, his anger resonating throughout Soul Society for everyone to feel. Captain Yamamoto expressed his anger by saying "I will slay everyone." This pretty much shows that the Gotei 13 aren't going to F around anymore and that losing isn't an option. With the Vandenreich having the upper hand, the Gotei 13 has to step their game up so that they aren't seen as weaklings or disappointments to both the Soul Society and Head Captain Yamamoto. Captains throughout Soul Society get ready to strike back at the Vandenreich. The most shocking part in this chapter was Kenpachi Zaraki's defeat at the hands of Juha Bach, the leader of the Vandenreich. He went so far as to call Kenpachi Zaraki "fragile" I mean we all know Kenpachi's kicks all sorts of a$$, but DAMN, even with his eyepatch off Kenpachi didn't stand a chance against him. Then from behind Captain Yamamoto shows up and pretty much says "I'm going to kill you Juha Bach."

Tune in for the next Bleach chapter next week and for more Badassness to surface. The new Bleach poll will be up some time this week. The next Bleach lyric will be up Monday, September 3rd.

Memoirs of Bleach News + Review on Bleach 504

So as you are aware, I haven't posted any lyrics because I've been busy recently. No worries though, I still have them, but have yet to post it. Also, the last lyric, The 11th Demon is a lyric I made along with a fanmade trailer. Please feel free to browse through my lyrics and check out the fanmade trailer I made myself. I haven't done this in awhile, but I'll fill you in on my thoughts on the new Bleach chapter 504: Before the Shadows

To sum Bleach Chapter 504: Don't F with the Captain Commander. Not only is part of his past revealed (his scars), but it also shows more info on his former lieutenant's Bankai: Koko Gonryo Rikyu (translates to Brillant Yellow Shrine of the Solemn Spirit). I mean his Bankai was strong enough to leave Captain Yamamoto with a scar. Chojiro Sasakibe's dedication to his captain is without question. With his death, a new enemy and part of the Vandenreich, Driscoll Berci, took Chojiro's Bankai and used it against Captain Yamamoto, but the Captain knew very well that with the enemy having their hands on his former lieutenant's Bankai, it wasn't the same - it wasn't as powerful as Captain Yamamoto predicted when Chojiro himself used his Bankai in battle against him years ago. With this, the Captain easily burned Driscoll. DAMN, incineration from an ticked off old man is bad news for that Vandenreich member. So in conclusion, a backstory leading up the Chojiro's death and the usage of his bankai along with the history of his relationship to Captain Yamamoto. Not bad, but there's more to this that meets the eye.

The 11th Demon

The never-ending bloodshed
Ceases to end
The thirst for battle
Satisfying like fine wine
Quenching for stronger opponents
1 by 1 they fall
Once in a lifetime there is one man
A man of vigor
A man of guts
A man that can kick my ass and prove it
I thirst for that sensation once more
My sword shakes in anticipation of meeting that man's blade
Until that day
MY strength will cease to stop until my blade gives out
The victory
The anticipation of dying
All that aside....lies a greater gift that's been given to me
Absolute Power
Battle
The ability to stand every time Im cut
I can't die
I'm immune to pain
As long as Im alive
I live for the battles
I live for the bloodshed
I am the demon that will one day kill you......Kurosaki Ichigo!!!

Shattering Blossoms

It scatters
Fades
The scent of blood
The blinding reality
Swept away by fear
Swallowed by pain
The wind picks up
....The breeze never soothes
My fear
My regret
The one thing that I couldn't live without
The shattering of my cherry blossoms
The love of my life
I've failed you and for that
I apologize
My delicate flower
Don't shatter just yet
Bloom
Rise
Live
Be a greater person than I ever was
For your sister's sake
For your friend's sake
And for my sake
Keep your cherry blossoms abloom
Mine has already been swallowed

-Stillmattic
(I do apologize that this lyric is darker than usual. The chapter pretty much sums up that Byakuya is dead and Rukia is down, but is Byakuya REALLY dead?)

Skull King's Damnation

Death God withers
The Light conquerors
Fading Hope
Where has it gone?
Soldiers of Death
Fall one by one
Arrows pierce
Swords dissipate
The White shadow retaliates
The Black Skull screams in horror
The White Knight laughs in relief
The brink of death between knights and skulls
Where will the battle reach its peak?
The Knights are merciless
The Skulls frightened
Only one hybrid can overcome the odds
The Black Moon
The Avenging Hero
The Caring Giver
The Skull King's Damnation
The savior of Skulls
Go forth and pursue something greater

The Xposure

The frightful memories that I will never forget
The monster that took away my mother's last breath
I wanted vengeance
I wanted payback
I want to put an end to this misery
Beyond all thoughts lied the truth behind my destiny
Years passes and I was half awake
One eye saw truth and the other a fake
I saw spirits of the dead, but no one else could
Is it a gift? A curse? It was something that I couldn't describe
Not only did I see them, but I helped them thrive
From helping a little girl to find its place
To meeting someone who could change my fate
A Shinigami is what they were called
Exterminating hollows
Bringing the spirits to rest
This Xposure that I wanted to follow
I aspired to protect those I love
Protect our city from these hollows
And from now on.....I shall be the hero in the shadows.

What NOT to say to a damsel in distress.

Ichigo may be the hero, but he's got a lot to learn about women....especially when it comes to Orihime.

Howling Blues Pt I

Towards the moonlight
Blinded by fright
The approaching darkness that seems to have taken its flight
Behold the power of the beast's might
No shadows in sight
It seems that the Howling Blues is about to stumble upon new heights
Quite a delight
A beautiful rite
The symphony of howls encroaches the night
Banded together they will smite
The cracked sky of the howling's right
Appeared in the darkness the Soul Society's knight
Cloaked in black & white
Listening to the Howling's tune....preparing to write...

.....To be continued

Future Bleach Lyrics + more

I got some plans for more Bleach lyrics to come. I plan to make a Confessions Pt II and possibly a Pt III. I probably will make a new project, but I don't know what I want to call it. So far, here are my plans for future bleach lyrics.

Confessions Pt II + III
The Moonscape
Buster & Harem
Howling Blues
Skylit Aurora
CCC (Cool, Calm, & Collected)
Forevermore
The Xposure
Skull King's Damnation
....Till I say goodbye (aka The Silence March)
Beyond Cigarette Ashes

NOTE: I may be a Bleach lyric, but I don't want this content to be used out of context and without my permission. Take credit for what credit is due. I worked hard to make these lyrics and I wouldn't want it to be used without my name. So please keep a note out there that this is my work and not yours.

Look forward to future bleach lyrics and beyond....(I could make lyrics about literally anything).

Project Sky Compilation

So as you are well aware, I've been making lotta bleach relating lyrics. I hope fans all over the world realize that this isn't easy to do. It take the right words and the overall right message to exemplify the true essence of bleach lyricism. So I compiled the ones I've written below. The title of this compilation is Project Sky. In the future, I hope to possibly sing/rap on my works. A poll will be up on which one the fans preferred.

1) The Hands of Time
2) The Inevitable
3) The God of War
4) Shadowing over the Horion
5) The Inevitability of War
6) The Object of Hate
7) Confessions Part I
8) Perception of Life
9) Project Sky
10) The Inescapable Inevitability
11) Time Reveals

"Beyond the Horizon lies the words and heartbeats of lyricism. Every detail has a different mechanism. Plenty of ammunition to go around. Stomp the ground. The Moonlit cloud. The never-ending promise that will envelop the sky. The words of essence sheds a tear in my eye."

Time Reveals.....(Bleach lyric by Stillmattic)

The passing of time
The circle of rhymes
The never-ending foundation of crime
The unfolding story of 1000 different soldiers
The violence never ends
The unraveling mysteries that seem to expand
What has become of hope
It's turned into misery
What has become of sanity
A Nonfiction of reality
The time space continuum
We're at a conundrum
The only way to win
Is when time decides its done
What is fate
What is truth
The only way to find out is with the blade of truce
Can there be peace
Between two species
Or is there bound to be an aftermath of disease
The blood sheds a teardrop
Time reveals its unfortunate event.....it cannot be stopped.

Updates on Blog

So far, I haven't posted anything in a couple days. I've been busy with school + I'm graduating soon. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't had much free time lately. I will tell you now, Bleach fans, that this isn't the end. I will try my best to post on my free time (my opinion on Bleach tomorrow) + the special blog post I was talking about last week. Feel free to leave a comment on my lyrics. The recent poll has been up for quite some time. Please do feel free to vote on it.

The Inescapable Inevitability....(Bleach lyric by Stillmattic)

The claws of disaster
It's a unimaginable horror
Hope
Confidence
It all shatters
Once the war begins
It's already inevitable
The initiation on Souls
It's the mastermind's role
The takeover of Soul Society as a whole
Where will the future go?
How will the present cope?
When everything is inescapable, it's a never-ending scope.
The hero struggles
The arrival
Of the evil
That's unspeakable, beyond comparable.

- Stillmattic

(Pretty much sums up what I thought of the chapter)

Project Sky....(Bleach lyric by Stillmattic)

Life is a mystery
Beyond misery
Everything around is in complete symmetry
The only chemistry
Is the two birds philosophy
That a world can be saved
It's mankind's destiny
The nurturing of youths
Which path will you choose?
The melody of blues
The heaven's booze
Blowing out the circuit fuse
It's beyond reason
Tis the season
Life is precious beyond one's comprehension
The atmosphere's tension
The love birds connection
A tearful confession
The feeling of one's impression
The happy-go-lucky expression
So startled that their mind is about to in disorientation.
The strawberry Ichihime projection
The perfect couple's affection
Beyond the horizon lies the mellow heaven
A human's introspection
The start of an introduction
The good and bad expectation
The life's ascension
The unknown deception
The world is in imperfection
While evil is thriving on the fruits of condescension
The story itself is a cross-section
Of rights and wrongs
A lovebird song
Of lyrics and vibes
It's hard to describe
Of beats and bass
The great merry-go-chase
Of melodies and lullabies
The memorable goodbye
High above the blue sky
The questions of what and why
Don't let life pass you by.
Life is a place to learn and apply
Life opens up to the minds eye
The song of a war-cry
Beating down the battle-cry
Racing across the galaxy's nebula sky.
This will be the song that I play before I turn my head, smile, and cry.

-Stillmattic

(Confession Pt II will be posted up soon and a special post will be up sometime this week.)

Perception of life.....(Bleach lyric by Stillmattik)

Life is a dangerous  adventure
Each day, each hour, a mind-blowing chapter
The day of reckoning us is beyond our reach
The evil mastermind is about to be impeached
The perception of life
The heated strife
The extraordinary extravaganza of a 1000 different knives
The attack is brutal
The force is something to be forced with, it'd only be futile
The hero is upon the horizon
A heart of determination
The mind of a lion
Ferocious, Fierce, and Frantic
Getting pull in by the mad man's antics
The scenario itself....pretty gigantic
Beyond compare
Beyond reason
The only way to win is to fight with life's season

Confessions Pt I....(Bleach lyric by Stillmattic)

Teenage Love
It's a beautiful picture
The words, the emotions, the whole damn scripture
A orange haired beauty
The hollowed beast
Bind them together, a story that never ceased
The start of a chapter
The uncontrollable laughter
The inescapable game of a lovely capture
The motivational poll of a 1000 disasters
The two bind combined
Create a whirlpool of saving mankind's nature
The orange haired duo
The perfect couple
Saving mankind from its desperate struggle
The sword and shield
Life itself will be revealed
Cleansed and healed
The unfortunate evil is unsealed
No matter what happens
............................................time will reveal its concealing deal.

-Stillmattic

(Pt II will be a different variation of Pt I, but nonetheless, same context: Ichihime)
